Got all 5 I ordered
All comic book creator pump their own “books”, (I hate refering to comics as books, but hey ho…) its their job and people will fall for it every time, some will pay out, some won’t, if you react to every creators comment you will ultimately spend way more in buying over hyped comics that go nowhere (at the moment) than you would ever make on the comics that become more valuable…think ultimate fallout 4 verse the last 9 years of over hyped content, you spend the value of that on buying the others…but it is my hobbie and i enjoy the collecting…i got 2 copies of spiderman 7, 1 i picked up yesterday in a city comic shop near me…i got them for cover price.
I think the thing we have to remember is we always advocate for cover price or less and sell for market prices. We don’t want people to FOMO buy books.
Very true but we still profit off of them.
Rare that I’ll sell a new book. I’m the guy that always will undercut as I figure if I’m taking the effort to post it, I want it gone.
Sold a single #7 within a few minutes (to pay for all the others) and I’m good.
The Midtown, online retailers, eBay preorders will be flooding in soon.
Thrawn, Ashoka, and Spider boy teamed up for a nice week.
That’s called marketing when it’s coming from the creators…
High Republic 2 is selling lots of copies. It will hit $20 before long
It was hot when it came out, cooled significantly, and is hot again!
I’m not sure it was “hot.” People ordered a lot of copies. Maybe the 1:25 sold for over ratio temporarily…but I don’t recall open orders selling over cover.
Keep an eye on the later printings though…
It’s too bad none featured Rwoh.
There are sooooo many copies of that (and its subsequent printings) out there. I see and pass on them constantly at this point. Even yesterday I saw copies at cover.
Sure there will be some FOMO buyers, but this is a book that I guess most comic book collectors and even casual reader fan likely have sitting in their collection.
Add in the fact that her appearances are so convoluted… anyways…smoke em if you got em I suppose.
My order of 4 books came in from midtown on Friday. I listed three on Friday and all sold. Nice little quick turn around. Wish I would have purchased more, but not going to complain.
It’s funny to see Spider-boy auctions selling for more than buy it now listings.
Yes, thats true…even if the comic is garage, its still marketing.
For Some people it’s just about winning. Even if they pay more than BINs.
I’ve had to put my prices up because somehow I’m the cheapest spider-boy seller.
That sounds like Charlie Sheen’s kind of winning
I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s baffling.
My 4 I ordered from BTC also shipped.
So Did they find the 480 missing copies?
Yes, missing. Indeed.
