Check the fridge or your pantry. When the kids have me running ragged and I’m on autopilot apparently put all kidnds of stuff there. A few days latee I’ll find all kinds of stuff the the fridge, freezer, and pantry.

Happens to me sometimes but it’s always in some box or on a counter where you never thought to look.

Did u at least get tracking?

Do we sell our spidey 7 1st prints before the 2nd print releases or does the value hold/increase? Exclude the argument for recovering costs, please

The second prints make the first prints more valuable because the second prints make the first prints better.

Main argument that I see coming from people calling for the book to lose steam is: “What’s the big deal? There are already so many different spider-related characters and Spider-Boy is just another one…”

What these people have failed to recognize is that Spider-Boy isn’t just another Spider character, but instead a Hero, who is Spider-Man’s side-kick in the 616.

I’m not saying that things can’t go side-ways and people lose interest. It’s very possible.

BUT! Those traits (Hero, Spider-Man side-kick, 616) scream major potential.

Thw market has reflected everything you just wrote

That’s pretty subjective though when you use the term “better”. A collector or reader might like the second prints more than the first for a lot of different reasons.

The market and demand for things work in mysterious ways. Let it grow organically instead I say and just see which way the market steers towards.

I mean in this particular case. This particular 2nd print will probably cause an international paper shortage. The sheer amount of second prints will make the first print more desirable than it already was.

Agreed. I posted on facebook cbsi highlighting this point yesterday, with a little thanks to the stores that made it happen.

Only for those that chase first prints or what they perceive as lower print runs, which we’ll never know since they never actually release those numbers.

geesh, the people in this group are a little obsessed over a certain book…

Do we have a choice?

I’m holding

I’m staying far away from the cover A second print (probably a huge print run) as well as the Store variants. I’ll hold the first prints and 1:25 second print for a bit and see where it goes.

I wouldn’t be surprised if more 1:25’s hit the secondary market than 1st print spoiler variants with how many store exclusives are being pumped out to qualify for the incentive.

There’s going to be a bunch of those 1:25 2nds for sure. There will still be less of them than the first print spoiler cover and those second print ratio variants are all the rage these days. If Spider-boy sticks around long enough they will do well. If he is a one story arch character no one will care about any of these in six months time. With how much hype there was prior to FOC and with the 2nd print store exclusives hitting so quickly I have a feeling Marvel will keep him around for a bit, but that’s just a guess.

Finally home after a week. Here’s what was waiting for me.

Still got one more spoiler coming, but is held up by books it was bundled with that came out today.

Think I’ll keep the best A cover, then sell a few sets of A & spoiler before hype dies down…but might hold the rest for now.

I sold my two copies. Got my money so that I’d have some scratch for a comic show I’m attending this Friday. As of now, I have zero regrets. I do sometimes sell stuff way too early though.

I found a copy of Heir to the Empire 1 under my passenger seat in my car last year. Don’t remember ordering it, don’t remember receiving it, don’t remember putting it under my car seat. :man_shrugging:
