Modern Comics Heating Up (Those With Potential Too) (Part 1)

They didn’t have a limit for the longest time the week they put this book up. Could have ordered at least 10 copies for cover…I can give them a pass on this one of they held some back.

I only sold Spider-man 7s the past few weeks.

Otherwise I’d have $0 net sales the Month of April.

Did the Midtown Dan Slott signing for this issue happen? I’m sure they had a stack reserved for that, so maybe that’s were these came from. They usually sell the extra signed books for cover or cheap, so I’ve been watching to see if those show up on their site, but they never did.

I’ve had pretty strong sales all 2023 after a really slow Q4 2022. It’s mostly hot book of the moment stuff though. Spidey, Terrifics, Thrawn, Hellboy Crooked man…

That line is from, “Wall Street,” right? My favorite movie with him is, “The Game,” tho.

Anyone think something could happen with Iron Man 182 with this Timothy Anders being mentioned in the Red Goblin book?

Not really. No.

Midtown wants $67.50 for Strange Academy 6 Young incentive. I hope they get stuck with it.

You should have preordered from 616 & Unknown. They had $15 copies :grinning:

or TFAW…$22 copies :grinning: :grinning:

Selling well on eBay.

You know, I just learned that the Gyro Captain and Jedediah are two separate characters in the Mad Max trilogy…portrayed by the same actor.

Spence is one of three actors in the Mad Max series to play two separate and distinct characters, e.g. Gyro Captain / Jedediah.

I always thought it was the same character! I mean…both fly things…I figured that’s how Max knew he was the one who had a plane…(end of Thunderdome)…because he knew him from Mad Max 2….and they basically wore the same costume!

The dude who played Toecutter was recast too

Spider-Friend looks like Max Mercury.
