SIKTC cover A went from being a weird cover to recognizable to iconic in the course of two years.
Typical of books that have some organic growth. That cover is t anything special…but now it’s iconic because it looks like no other cover and the book is big.
Canto 1 is another example.
SIKTC cover A is shit, didn’t tell that to the guy that bought my 9.8 though 
the Frison is the best cover to have, it displays great but the value started dropping when they did the foil, blood and Diamond Retailer variants of it.

Im predicting warlock: rebirth #2b to sell better than a. has eve on both covers, but cover b is pretty, as the a cover isn’t pretty.

It does seem to be a trend. A book gets hot, low ballers appear, the cheap copies are gone, the book goes back up in value.
I don’t have much of a choice.
Turns out None of my LCS’s ordered any shelf copies. And what secured online I combined with other books shipping later.
I’m suspecting being delayed so many times led to this falling off many ship radars for shelf copies. Even the online shops that that load them the day before release that I normally grab hot books from are showing no inventory. So that’s unusual.

Cover B is being sold in sets.
Tons of people are selling singles of cover A. Very few singles of cover B.

This appears to be pretty under ordered. Me and friend looked around today, only found 2 shelf copies.

I stopped at two shops earlier today. One had zero copies on the shelf 2 hours after opening. The other shop in a more remote area of town had a dozen, but not nearly as many collectors visit that place.

Went to my LCS. They send out an email every week where you can check boxes next to comics you want and add them to your pull list. I did it this week for SW Jedi Quest. When I got there, I got the “sorry we don’t have one for you” excuse. They claim they only got 4 in and they all went to the people who pre-ordered it. Their email even featured it as one of three books to get this week, lol. So you feature it in your email but you don’t have any to sell? I guarantee they are holding them to sell later or online. They pulled the same thing with Hell Arisen 3. Shops that don’t even give people a shot at a comic on release day because it is hot really walk a fine line. I have Star Wars on my pull list (main title and HR) so it’s not like I’m just a flipper looking for it.
By the way, they had just a couple copies of Worldtr33 left and they did not look beat up with spine ticks or anything like that.
