Unless I misheard him, he said “I have lots of inside info.” That statement alone reeks of pretentiousness.

Not just him. It was rRenna. Cover lovers etc that touched on ut. All mentioned this book in 24hrs and copies started moving. I was watching from last wed when cover dropped. Available until Sun evening

I’m not sure they can turn this phase of High Republic around in 4 issues and make it consequential. I welcome being proven wrong tomorrow. Still, I doubt a death 150 years before all the characters in phase 1 that we care about are having their adventures will become a key issue.
I mean, it all “matters” to one degree or another to the extent that it’s all canon. But I doubt it will matter to the level flippers and collectors will care about.

Not from the main HR series but at the very least we have General Viess that is supposed to still be alive and quite important in phase III so there’s that… If she’s a bad ass and a Jedi killer, we might see some heat on her first app/cover next year…
