I think some of the names of these artists are just too hard to spell…and people just default to “cover A”…

I mentioned selling out Wednesday and the Klein Variant still having 3,000 copies in stock at Penguin Random House Friday. I would assume there are thousands of copies in various states of shipment to stores right now. I’ve got tracking numbers for two separate orders including 10 copies of the Klein ordered Thursday. Looks like Tuesday delivery with the holiday delay so check your stores starting then and you’ll probably see plenty of restocks arriving. I ordered another 20 Kleins today just in case. I would assume those will ship Tuesday for arrival Wednesday/Thursday. I would assume with over 3,000 extra Klein variants there were probably similar numbers on all the variants in stock at PRH when the reordering began. What was there like 10 variant covers so maybe another 30,000 copies or more arriving in stores this week. The only question will be if that will be enough to flood E-Bay and drive down the prices.

I’m thinking the Manhanini suit will be the ultimate 
suit that Ultimate Spider-Man sticks with. It appears Manhanini will have a series of covers like this.
Issue 1 - Spider-Man with reflection
Issue 2 - Green Goblin with reflection
Issue 3 - slated but no cover art yet.
I’m hoping one of Parker’s kids develop powers.

Probably a ways off. They likely are going to run the gamut with the tradition rogues gallery first.

Ultimately, it’s just nice to see a book heat up again after 2023 was pretty abysmal. I don’t remember feeling any sense of urgency to get to the LCS on Wednesday last year. This is an auspicious start to 2024. I do worry that some online retailers will “run out of copies that were preordered,” and I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen to any of our CHU brethren.

I dont really see Peters kids getting powers, mind you in the story he just got the spider powers because of Tony Stark giving peter the spider bite to make him into spider-man so before that he was just a regular guy without powers so his kids are powerless most likely, I also think most of the focus is going to be on Peter and his relationship with uncle ben and J Jonah, not saying theyre getting powers but the main cast theyre using

I did place this order late last night I think…so I wasn’t optimistic.
so far they’ve cancelled 3 of the 5 copies I ordered from their various shops…
Hopefully the other 2 go through. 
I think some people are just list it hoping it’ll eventually reach that price as it is still climbing.
Now, if this were a week later and copies dropped to $20 I’d agree.

Keep looking online. I was up late last night and came across a new listing of Ultimate Spider-man #1 cover A. Three had already sold and I picked up the last two for cover price. Not every seller wants or cares about keeping up with on the fly Ebay prices. They have new stock; they list it and move on to the next item that needs to be listed. There still may be deals or good prices out there. With word getting out with this book it might get difficult. FOMO is getting very real, and buyers are still going nuts over this. Even the covers no one was very keen on at first are starting to sell out. The big surprise for me is the 1:25 is still cheap. Selling for about $15 with plenty out there for under ratio. I don’t have any so I’m not pushing it but I would think at this point the cheaper ratios would start moving at higher price over most if not all the regular covers due to a smaller print, especially over some of the weaker covers. I did not think we would be talking about this one with so much intensity I just hope they aren’t all back down to cover price by the time I get mine delivered.

They are either hoping this will move more of the copies under $30 driving up the prices faster, or they will buy it with a second account to make some waves…or they generally think someone is dumb enough to fall for it. Regardless, more Ebay eye rollers.

I’m not gonna chase a copy at this point, but I’ve always thought Checchetto was underrated so it’s cool to see this heat up. Secret invasion 1 is a must buy for those seeking to hedge their bets.

All that I care for is if the story is good. So if anyone can share an opinion on this, that would be great. Cuz if so, I might break my 2024 resolution lol.

I’ll let you know in a few weeks when I read it on Marvel Unlimited for dirt cheap since it’s only $70 a year to read almost everything Marvel puts out, past, present and future.

If you can get your hands on a copy, I think it’s worth the read. I was gonna skip the series entirely but the first issue is solid.
Listed two copies of Ultimate Spiderman #1 last night. Also listed a copy of Beneath the Trees #1 2nd print and #2. Watched a ton of low ball offers come in and the books still all sold at full asking price. Pretty successful Sunday.
