Modern Comics Heating Up (Those With Potential Too) (Part 1)

It is hard to find a copy of cover A on eBay to buy. The copies that I am finding are for 20 bucks.

The thing about Kanan is that #5 is also important if you are truly talking spec on the Rebels gang, yet it seems to get left out of most conversations.

The entire crew is shown in a panel and Hera is actually shown in two panels with spoken lines in both.

Buy em all…buy em all lol. I just find it interesting that I tend to always come across #5 after #1 and #6 have been cherry picked.

With Black Widow, I know one thing, I’m not betting on the Pacheco cover. Looks awful.

I sold one of my TFAW exclusive Shadecraft for $100.

I don’t think it was this thread but I talked about how I sold one of the Tfaws for $95 and then put the 2nd one at $199.99 thinking it wouldn’t sell and I would just hold it for maybe a trailer or something but then someone actually offered me $175 and I of course took the money and ran

He has hits and misses. He advised Gwenpool over Riri Williams (Ironheart) previously, and we both know which one took off.

My view is that take him just like any other piece of investing advice - as advice, not the gospel truth.

When Gwenpool gets announced for something I’m sure she will out pace or be the same as RiRi

Oh yeah of course… he’s had some duds, but also some rockets! I enjoyed just how he thought about what to pick, was a pretty neat concept.

But gwenpool is also muddied with a cover appearance prior to a comic appearance

I’d say that is par for the course in comic speculation. Arons spec is solid due to the analytics he provides with his spec. You literally don’t see that level of analytics, if any at all, in any the YouTubers or sites with top ten lists. The YouTubers, et al, spec is retroactive, while Arons analytical spec tends to be proactive. When you are proactive, youre not gonna bat 1.000. I digress.

Aaron does great work.
I will say, this, though in addition.
If 8 - 10 years ago you stuck with purchasing only Marvel silver & bronze keys, and held, then has anyone lost out on even 1 book with that business model? Even 1?
This industry/hobby makes geniuses from even the simplest of models to be fair to many others.
Store variants and doing analytics/spec on moderns can be successful but you can also lose too… particularly store variants

I’ve been using the flip money to try and buy as many older comics as I can to stash away. I think for the long run thats going to be the best bet. I agree with you.

But first Gwenom…please…

If I remember correctly that was another one of his picks…I bought 4 or 5 of them at $20 each and I think they are selling for $60+ now right?

Yes, but in investments, timing also matters. For example, we can sell off RiRi’s now to buy up Gwenpool.

I accept that one cant get everything right all the time, but my point is precisely that!
