The guy I read up on periodically had this in his spec, but was specifically targeting second printings. He just came back from having some family issues, but started me out with some good investing tips prior to coming to the CHU forums (which blew me away even moreso). He doesn’t post a lot, but I like his articles and his model he uses for investing. I have NO affiliation with this person, am just simply putting why I had tried to buy one (even though it came damaged), nor does this person know that I read his website lol.

Aaron knows his shit and has it down to a science. Literally. I hope he brings back his Newsstand thread as well. There’s a few others here that frequent his site. I’m glad to hear he’s back.

I remember him hyping ultimate fallout 4 years before everybody and showing stacks of CGC 9.8 UF4 on his website. His recommendations are usually spot on.

I’m glad everyone knows him, I didn’t want to feel like I was trying to promote someone, but he really helped me understand supply vs demand and where to get the data to support the spec.

CGC lists first appearance for Kanan 1 slabs, they list nothing on #6. Go with #1.
CGC is not the final authority on what they slap on their labels. So take it with a grain of salt I say of what they put on their labels.

Yeah I wonder the ratio of people who have access to a comic shop vs who don’t… In the big cities sure, but once you start going out into rural areas I imagine they are few and far between.
I bought two Shadecraft exclusives from TFAW. Because the story (IMO) was so horribly written, I sold one right away and just listed the second. These are going consistently for $80-100+.

I only got 2 copies of the cover A and thought the story was completely garbage. Don’t know how it got optioned, I must not be the target audience. Will be gladly listing these for $10-15 bucks when I have time to have these out of my possession.

Technically 1 has a slew of firsts. They are cameos.
6 had some 1st covers plus full appearances (first full as some call them).
Both are good books. I invested in 6 because first full plus first cover typically beats out first in cameo not on cover.
The hulk 180/181 rule, in other words.
I like both books mostly because I got #1 for cheap from a fellow CHUer and #6 in a trade on mercari someone offered me randomly out of the blue for some variants I had double of.
