I’ve had 3 of the 7 copies cancelled so far. Also had one 1 copy of Invasion 2nd print cancelled (out of 2 ordered).
Sometimes they don’t tell me and they just refund my card…haven’t seen that so hopefully that’s the end of it.

That’s what I listed my copy for. Seems like it’s at $30 now. Figured if someone wants to make me sell it to them $40 is my price until more copies arrive.
It’s a 9.8 candidate and I’m not willing to let it go for less until I see the condition of my other copies.

It’s weird, I sold a bunch of them early on for $25 + shipping and it sold out almost immediately. Then listed a few more at $30 + shipping and those went even faster. So now I am running out of copies and don’t really want to sell the rest as I want to keep some so I listed just 3 copies at $40+$7 shipping and it sold right away. I was looking at other listings and there were a bunch at $30 still so don’t know what’s going on.
I’m guessing the demand is still there. I’m looking at the demographics of my buyers and 80% to 90% of my buyers have not sold a single item on ebay. 1 is a woman, only 3 buyers bought more than 1 copy. This tells me it’s a lot of old and new readers that are buying the series and not speculators. Also was talking to my LCS and they are seeing a lot of new faces in their shops looking for Ultimate Spiderman and putting it on their pull list.

Man, you have had the most peculiar sales stats over the past few days. It’s evident by your “I don’t understand what’s going on” comments and brother, it is weird. I’m just happy you’re selling so well. Keep the updates coming because they are fascinating. Rock on.
I’m not really sure what you mean by your comment. I said it was weird because there were people listing for prices cheaper than what I had listed but mine sold anyways. D-Dog asked a question if the FOMO has reached a ceiling and I replied with my own experiences. No need to get all snarky.
No man, no criticism at all. What I meant is that when you post about your sales it just doesn’t make sense as to why people are paying more for your copies and how when you raise the price they sell immediately. I was just commenting on how interesting it is hearing about your experience over the past few days. No offense intended whatsoever.

Back to discussion. Looking at the sales today, it’s still staggering to see how many copies have moved. Lots of sales between $30 and $40. It looks like the Chechetto black costume variant is the most desirable as that is fetching at $50.

I picked up some more copies of Ultimate Spoderman #1 but not A covers. Have more on hold. At his point I am holding an A and trying to cash in on any other cover I find. Make the money while it’s there.

Yeah I picked up some more copies today of the other covers, couldn’t find any more As. I figured this would be the last day or 2 to be able to find any more in the wild. Was at a shop today that still had about 30 or 40 copies of the other various variant covers. The shop owner knows they are fetching some money on ebay but left them on the shelf for his customers. Good dude, so I picked up 4 copies and left the rest for his store/customers. Also bought bought some deluxe hardcovers and a bunch of foil facsimiles from his shop, great shop owner.

Tempted to ask my shop if they could order some for me, but I have 4 copies already and there’s no guarantee it’ll heat up. It hasn’t yet…
I can’t find much for sales at those prices. But I will say there isn’t really a great way to search for cover A. Some people put Hickman in their description. Some Checchetto. Some Cover A, some CVR A…others pay extra to have their listings appear first. Then some may just be ordering them by newest listings.
Some may not be showing up at all with how eBay “streamlines” listings…
Well don’t forget Spicy is in Canada as I am, so the amounts he is sharing are most likely in $CAD. I sold my sixth copy of USM#1 cover A last night for $54.95CAD + shipping, it’s great to see some books moving! I should have 10 more on the way if all goes well. I also gambled a little bit and ordered multiple copies of Ultimate Invasion #1 2nd print from PRH via my online comic shop. I figured why not considering those sold Ultimate Spider-Man covered the costs anyway…

These were my sales at $40, they’re in USD. You’re right they’re hard to find with so many covers and variants. I made sure to list mine as “Ultimate Spider-Man 1 Cover A NM 2024 Hickman”

Well, the cheap copies from Mycomicshop all have shipped and (sort of surprisingly) the copies I found on the Buy it Now Search section of Whatnot for cheap all shipped as well.

So are the the 1st print covers with the exception of the JTC negative space variant. It’s a $9 book and sales are mostly around cover with a few creeping over cover for the 2nd print. Asking prices are over cover however and only a few listed. Might be worth grabbing a few more…
It’s just nice to have a comic that lives up to the namesake of this site. It’s been a while since something legitimately heated up to this level!
