Ha!
Infinity profit!
I can’t get to mine. They have moved so much stuff around in my basement remod that everything is in my comic room. I want to list them.
How is the remod going?
Yeah dude, remodeling is as stressful as watching Comic Tom try to make a coherent sentence. Is the end in sight? When it gets too much to bear, you know what to do: blast some Danzig!
The only day that was any trouble was jackhammer day. Thankfully I was in the office for that day. We have had framing done. Electricity done. Plumbing put in. They have started drywalling. Need floors still. One section is going to be drop ceiling because all of the houses water and vents run in a small section so I want it accessible. I will post pictures later.
(preemptive post)
I believe @monopolyjackson highlighted this at foc (thanks as always), but it will likely be a real barn burner. May be a good one to try to quickly grab for ratio from your shops if possible.
The more I look at the cover, the less I like it. Seems like Adams is doing the same face with all female characters. It’s also not a very interesting character pose.
But, Adams does have his fanbase, and I’ll likely buy a few…
This is just absurd for a 1:25, especially when the book has a 1:100…and store exclusive variants
True… There will be a lot of 1:25’s out there. There won’t be a shortage of people who want them but the prices that will be asked at first won’t last long.
I personally don’t care for his style. I think the only covers I’ve ever liked that he drew were the three issue “New Fantastic Four” arc from the 90s. Never did see what others see…just an example of how “Art” is in the eye of the beholder…
A hard cover of Art Aams came out a few weeks ago and is awesome. This Wolverine cover doesn’t sit right with me.
I call bs. Stories set in the future rarely gain traction.
Age of Ultron - dollar bin
Spider-man 2099 - dollar bin
Earth X - dollar bin
Old Man Logan - dollar bin
It was a good first issue and I am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
However, with these recent sales, it looks like some people are trying to create another Ultimate Spiderman #1 scenario. “Oh look another #1 that is hot organically because of story.”
Some of the issues of old man Logan are still good. There’s also been multiple sales above cvr price. It’s worth watching
I think we need to see some heat from some other covers of this thing has any potential…otherwise it’s just people liking the Ross cover a little more than the alternatives.
Main cvr is usually the 1st to reach the tipping point. Feel free to wait until it’s too late
