Not heating up but something interesting. I had ASM 323 listed for a while with no bites. Then yesterday I got 5 offers from different buyers, roughly around 70-80% of the price. I was sleeping and never got to it, probably would’ve taken it. Then a sixth buyer came in and scooped it up for the full price.
I find it interesting that this all happened on the same day when that book was sitting there for months with no interests. I believe it’s because of the captain America movie and he’s in people’s minds. Good time to list your captain America related books, not just the one on “hot lists”. They’re selling.
Could it be about Solo’s first app?
I got a ton of Sam Wilson #1s. Like 10-15.
I got them all for $1 in a dollar bin sale pre-covid. they’re all in NM.
Gotta dump these. Probably try to move them in sets of 5 l for $10. Thanks for reminding me.

I can’t believe how much interest there is for Invincible 144 (final issue). I found three copies. Listed the first for $90, and it sold in hours. Listed the second with a couple other issues. Sold for $140 in hours. I listed my third copy for $100. It had 20 followers in a flash. Someone asked me to hold it until Friday for them, and if I did, they’d give me $115. I’m doing it, as the buyer has good feedback, and the popularity doesn’t seem time sensitive. If I have to relist Friday, it’ll still sell.
I’m not an Invincible fan, so I know zip about this title. Is it just scarcity? Is there a big moment in the book?
My best dollar bin flips to date.

Could be. My guess is one of the youtubers probably did a segment on cheap first apps to pick up now kind of content. No way it’s coincidence I got 5 offers and a buyer all on the same day when it was sitting there for months.

I just checked out feebay and some dude is selling the entire Invincible run, all slabbed CGC 9.8, and only for the low low price of $80,000. Act fast, everyone.

I will say, that’s pretty dang impressive. 144 issues, all 9.8.
That probably sounded like a good idea a couple years back, but slabs have dropped in price so much since.
