Great week for spec pick ups and sales. One of the stores I go to gets a ton of Image titles in and found 5 copies of Nights #1 (Image) that just got optioned by Netflix. Have been putting them up and they typically sell within 1-3 hours at $25 a pop.
At the same shop, I ended up digging through a box of Nightwing comics and found two #54 Putri variants for $3 each.
Another Nightwing book to keep an eye out for is Nightwing #52 variant by Shirahama. HTF book that can sell for $30-$50 depending on condition.
Have also been looking for some of the stranger Aliens/Predators versus books.
Found a full set of Vampirella/Aliens (#1-#6) for $50. In good condition, this set sells for $100-$120. The hardcover that reprints the series can sell for $120+
Wilcats/Aliens #1 is a $15-$25 book
Predator vs Judge Dredd vs Alien #1-#4 is becoming a good find and trending up from $40+ for the series
Prometheus Complete Fire and Stone Hardcover by Dark Horse is tough to locate and can also command $200+
Iāve never seen one in the wild, but a ghost that I always keep an eye out for is Aliens Versus Predator: Sand Trap (one shot 2007) which can sell for $150-$175.

It is crazy that you mention the Aliens books. I was at my LCS a few hours ago and someone brought in their collection, and low and behold, all kinds of different Aliens and Predator books. I picked up all of the Aliens books, but the Predator books were kind of messed up because it appeared that one of the long boxes the idiot that owned the books was shooting the box with a BB gun since the shop owner found BBs in the box. The moron messed up most of the Predator books as they had dents/tears.

Speaking of Putri, the Ultimate Wolverine #2 1:25 is sneaky good. Having it in hand at my LCS made me buy it. It seems like it is one of those that the more you look at it the more you appreciate it.

Books I simply was not really aware of. Added them to the radar. Gratz on the finds as well.
It is amazing how ābigā this hobby can be. You can really take certain books for granted, or pass over things as fodder and make miss out. Knowledge is power/money. Appreciate the post and your insight on that!

I know a lot of what we do is just BS around but I do love actionable items. I add stuff like that to my list when I go hunting.

This one has been great for me. I found about a dozen sealed Satanās Six #4 (first Jason Vorhees) in a antique (junk) vendor selling books for $2. I bought them all. Iāve sold about half of them, all near the $20 CAD or more each but Iāve seen them rising steadily and saw this recently:
Funny thing is that the first issue in the series is a very unloved cover by McFarlane, there was a dozen of those as well but I didnāt grab more than a couple.
