Hit three shops today and was able to snag 2 copies of Sister Imperator #2 and 2 copies of Wolverine #8 Johnson variant.
Sold one copy of Sister for $35 and will sit on the other as there are only a few copies listed and this looks like it might be the big book of the week.
During one of my stops, the store had recently restocked their $1 books and was able to find the following:
Killadelphia #3, #4, #5 (2 copies)-all Cover A
Rust #12 (1st Terminator)
Far Sector #5-Warren Louw cover B
Nightwing #78 1st print
Ruins #1

I had added 3 copies on FOC with TFAW but figured I’ll just get it on release date, that was a mistake looks like…

Was able to grab one at the local shop this morning. Listed and sold for $30 within 2 hours.
Was able to find a store online that said they had 7 copies. Ended up only having 4 on hand but they’re on the way.

i like the Wolverine #8 long term. Found one copy, no luck any where else I went. Has a great cover and the Johnson back up story is cool. 800th anniversary + the Adamantine appearance (which seemed lame an uneventful).
I really liked that back up story as well!
Definitely a book that didn’t seem heavily ordered. Just an expensive book to begin with, a long with a bunch of different covers (I actually also ordered/like that Capcom Sabertooth cover & believe in time it will do well…just needs to cook).
Shops around me had, at best, one copy of that particular cover for their wall.
Glad that, for the most part, everyone on here sounds like they secured one.

I had two, sold one for 6 six times cover, the other is for the PC. I also liked that there were no ratios offered, probably kept the print run low. Wish this happened more often.

Just a quick note-the original Marvel Rivals variants specifically Storm #4 and Magik #1 are getting expensive. Closed auctions on Ebay for Storm have seen highs of $79 and the Magik is going for $70-$100.
If you didn’t sell all of them, like I did, this would be a good time to cash out…

Funny story about that book, last week the guy who always is there Wednesday’s at my LCS came up to me and asked if I got all my order for the Marvel Rivals Magik #1. I had ordered two of them at FOC. He proceeds to tell me that they couldn’t get the last copy I ordered (I had already picked up two) and I told him so. Apparently they had charged me for 3 copies and I had paid for 3 copies but they had only delivered 2 of them and had been trying to get my 3rd in this whole time.
I was happy with the refund for the 3rd but would have been pretty excited if they had actually found a copy!

I don’t stay up on Besch’s variants too much but wondering if anyone thinks Magik 4 Besch variant has any potential.
