Probably the dealer that canceled the two I ordered off of Hip Comics for cover a few days ago.
It Nirvana Comics, whoâs having a Quesada signing this weekend
I ordered from JAF comics on Hip comics. They had 10 available at $10 each with shipping included⊠Apparently there was something wrong with the system or how it was listed (yeah right)⊠Probably on the wall of their store for a higher price.
Iâve had 2/2 orders cancelled through Hip Hop
Yeah, I have more cancelled over the years from that site than any other. I doubt there are any repercussions for deadbeat dealers.
I ordered from about 12 different shops knowing that some would cancel. So far I know Iâll be getting at least 15 copies of A and 3 copies of the 1 per store. 1 per stores were an average of $25 apiece.
Start a thread called âDeadbeat Comicbook Dealersâ and let the comic book world know what dealers are practicing shady retailer tactics by cancelling orders on hot comics so they can up the price after the factâŠ
Done.
There is one for online shops.
Thatâs true but thatâs full report type of topic, figured itâd be like the eBay where itâs specifically where they cancel orders on you on books that suddenly heat up and they cancel to turn more profitâŠ
Still had it behind the counter at $45. I just couldnât pull the trigger. Books are sitting at $90. I figured out if I sold it at $90, Iâd only make about $25 profit at best after fees and taxes. And with the risk it may continue to drop thatâs not enough profit margin for me to take on that risk.
do you know that some seller accounts are linked to be identical to their ebay accounts
but hip doesnt take down the listings if it sells on ebay
Thatâs too bad. If there is the ability to do that, they should. It would save a lot of headaches.
LOL
Because the seller has NO IDEA what condition the book will arrive as, this is a very ballsy presale.
Itâs looking more like someone missed the boat âŠ
Is there a kicking myself in the ass emoji somewhere?
First to market usually gets the best sale. Even if itâs not the first in hand.
Person also didnât advertise it as NM or any condition. So technically it could be any condition.
Sold a âThey Choose Violence #1â for $15.
Sold a second one too. (They Choose Violence).
Solid $15-$20 book.
