First shop I went to is a success. There were 5 copies of the variant on the shelf. This isn’t my usual shop so wasn’t sure what their policy is on ncbd. Took 1 copy and looked around for pumpkin spicy, no luck. Waiting for my next shop to open now.
Hard to find that WW 25 book online cheap. I did preorder 2.

It’s such a beautiful cover in person. I think I’m going to keep a copy or two even though I don’t think it has any long term spec value. Just a beauty with the all black cover.

2nd shop went to at open had no copies even though they had 5-10 copies of every other variant. There were some people in line before me, not sure if they picked up the few copies that were out.
We did it on purpose just to let you down…

3rd shop I went to found a copy of WW. They had a huge section for DC pride books. Went there thinking for sure I would find those Tim Drake prides. Nope, also no pumpkin spicy either. Looks like that was picked through or it wasn’t ordered.
No WW25 hot book at my shop, They had three other covers.
No one but us was talking about this book. Wondering (ha) if it will pop.
Went to three shops today and only one had the WW25 variant, which I bought. Was also able to snag two of the Spicy Pumpkin Nightwing #130. Sold one of those within 1 hour of listing.
Did find Marvel Zombies Red Band 1:25 for $14 and Batman Second Knight #1 1:25 for $14.
I was also able to get two copies of Mr. Terrific #1 Cover A for cover price. While they are not selling for $30+ anymore, they still move at $20.
At every store, I’ve also been looking for Absolute Batman #4 & #7 1st prints as well as Ultimate Spiderman #13 Cover A, but no luck, which is surprising considering both of these are bigger runs.

Did not realize that one had increased in price. Good to know.
My Spicy Nightwing copies I ordered were refunded. The shop I ordered from is honest, probably didn’t realize they were sold out until they checked for my shipment. Oh well.
I got a WW25 variant from another online spot, hoping it works out.
Here’s a fun little one to look for in light of recent news. You should find tons of these in dollar bins. First Tombstone cover.

Old comics have scuffs and wear cuz they got rough love back in the day! Now we all handle our comics with gloves and as if the slightest misstep will wreck them!
It’s always interesting to hear about everyone’s finds.
There are books I have no trouble finding, yet others can’t & vice versa.
I didn’t think I’d have any issue finding those Mr Terrific comics & those are a complete ghost around here.
I’ve found issue #4 everywhere, but nothing lower.

2025 is just bonkers in the comic hobby. Has there been a year like this where books from the last few months to 1-2 years are spiking like this? We’d always get one here or there. But this is getting hard to manage!
