I picked up three brand new IDW GI Joe hardcovers for $30. Sold one this weekend for $50. I haven’t had much luck with trade finding or hardcover finding but when I see the GI Joe’s that I know, I do well with them.
Flipping collected editions (trades and hardcovers) is super enjoyable - there’s a lot of fun nuance to it that is missing from speculating in single issues. To make the most of it you need to engage with the community and get in to some details - which collected lines/formats are most desirable, reprint rumors and announcement and even things as mundane as matching logos/fonts on the spines.
I’ve done it for several years and taking what i make in profit has gotten me a mid-grade AF15 among others so I’m pretty happy.

So apparently a new villain is debuting in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #13 releasing 12-10. I believe he is on the cover of a 1:100 found in the blind bag. However, I noticed that there was an NYCC preview book. Does anyone know if the villain appeared in the preview?
