I was literally just watching one of these that was listed as VF (looked a whole lot better than that).
Ultimately I let it go a couple days ago without bidding as Iāve been on a bit of a spending free-for-all lately.
The one I was watching ended with 1 bid which to me was a bit surprising. I think it went for $79; but probably because the grade description. I really thought it was better.
always felt it was an undervalued book
I bought a CGC 9.0 6 years ago for $42. Itās probably a 9.8 now.

Are we talking CGC grades of when CGC received the book, or after theyāve bent the book and put a number on a label that doesnāt represent the bent book?

The new film is really drumming up
interest among those who were not that familiar with the franchise, Iād imagine. The fact that the new movie is so mothershucking awesome could be bringing folks over to our neck of the woods as readers and collectors.

Some items that Iām looking for on NCBD at the shops that I think are flying under the radar for Absolute Batman.
As everyone knows, 1st prints of Cover Aās are very hot, but there are still gems out there to be found.
Specifically the 1:25 retailer variant covers for 2nd-5th prints of #1, 1:25 2nd print (Batmobile cover) #2, and 1:25 2nd print #4 (ghost).
#2 2nd print 1:25 (Batmobile virgin) raw just sold for $125 and Iāve sold two for $90
#1 2nd print 1:25 is creeping up to #50-$70
#1 3rd print 1:25 is $45-$60
There was also a Galley Promotional edition of the Zoo TPB that I think was given to comic shops. It is harder to find and recent copies have sold from $60-$75.
Also the Blank Sketch Cover (Blue logo) has now started to sell in the $45-$60+ range.

These 2nd print 1:25 are a complete ghost at my shops. My LCS donāt play that game. Can only find them online at major retailers or ebay.
