Just driving to different shops this week I was able to land 10 copies of Edge of the Spider-Verse #1 Cover A & the Nakayama variant, also Ultimate Spiderman #2 all for either cover price or at a discount. One shop had the Edge Of The SpiderVerse #1 One per store variant for cover price which I quickly grabbed. What a great weekend. Happy comic book hunting.

Just found Six Fingers #1 surprise variant for cover price. It wouldn’t scan for some reason but the worker sold it at cover price. Yup a good weekend picking up new releases.

Do you live in a large city? I often wish I had multiple comic shops near me, but I would need over an hour’s drive just to reach the next closest one.

Looks like Ultimate X-Men #1 made it thru the weekend finding more people to pay $20 for copies with almost 2 weeks to go before stores get supplied.

Got a gap in the children so here’s some more verification on in or out at PRH today.
This one is your guess is as good as mine what it is but it’ll most likely end up selling for more than cover at most places in April.
Could the Surprise April Variant be for SPIDER-GWEN: THE GHOST-SPIDER #1…?
Will her first appearance in 616 be good spec or just meh spec?
Considering how badly things are overprinted these days, it will be so hard to tell. Short term will probably be good money, but long term, not sure.
If anyone’s interested in next week, Diamond and PRH are showing Ultimate Spider-man #1 3rd print sold out but with that ratio out there I suspect it was ordered heavy preFOC as well.
Diamond’s also out of Spectacular Spider-Men #1, Giant Size Spider-Gwen #1, the Skottie Variant of Aliens What If #1.
I checked two of them which show available still from PRH.
We already know Weapon X-Men #1 and Ultimate X-Men #1 are sold out at both.

I might put up my Walmart variant, which actually held up better than the A copies if you got them fast enough.

2 copies away from a complete sellout of 50 copies of #1 plus a nice ratio sale for that 50 ratio. Even taking time to warn people about how bad the covers were hasn’t stopped it from pulling cover price and a half making it an extremely profitable series. Of course, better cover paper and maybe we could even have achieved double cover on average. I’m torn between raising the price of the last 2 copies to try and keep them around or just being thrilled that they’re all gone. I just ordered several copies of the trade. Hopefully it has a better cover.
I have no loyalty to the series. May list my copies.
Same here. I have several copies of his first appearance slabbed, so I’ll hold on to those for future prospects, but sell those toilet paper ridden #1’s.
Sleeper book. Could easily see One Hand by Ram V being optioned for a TV series. Def copped a couple minty surprise variants of One Hand #1 and a couple Six Fingers as well. Great story thus far. Giving me Se7en vibes. Love the noir. And the Detective character is dope.
Looks like new x-men 114 got a little nudge the past couple of days. Sold my copy today.
