Not sure if this means anything, but my LCS posted on social media that Ultimate Wolverine 1 is incredibly violent and sad and will “make you feel things”. They are offering customers the opportunity to remove it from their pull box. I’ve been shopping with them for 5 years, basically since I moved here and I’ve never seen or heard them say or offer anything like this before. This isn’t a ploy to scoop them up for themselves, they aren’t that kind of shop.
I’m not sure if this is happening elsewhere, but it could translate to some additional heat?
Great question, they are scarce on eBay I guess if that is what you use for your comic needs? I don’t get it but I heard the print run was low or there was some issue with the printings so I have it on my books to watch. Starting to see it creep up last few sales and they are pretty scarce on eBay.
Ironically, that just makes me more curious to read it. This is a character built on incredibly violent and sad stories, I’m not sure I want to imagine how much worse it could go.
If someone wanted it removed from their pull list because the thought of it being just too sad and violent would be unbearable…why would they have any difficulty “attempting to accommodate the request”???
Umm…just take the book out of the pull box/customers file, whatever.

When they are this hard to find…I actually am ok just doing without lol. Sometimes you just miss the boat…I love the game but just didn’t have the foresight on this pre-FOC unfortunately.
I believe the foc of these marvel rivals variants were before the game came out. No one would’ve had the foresight to know that it would do so well. The game could’ve flopped. Shops in my area didn’t even order these, just got the A covers.
noticed a couple of the capcom covers creep up over cover on ebay, the venom and psylocke
it’s not much but just curious if those sales are residual from the rival game.

The LCS that might have gotten it is located I a dying mall…and their phone number is disconnected (repurposed) as I think the mall is shutting down all but essential operations. The escalators and elevators are even closed.
So yeah…since one LCS didn’t get diamond books yet, doubt the other did.
