Went to two shops today. Neither had it.
I got one, but only because it was a post-foc order with the shop. When I do that, I only get them if the shop has an extra. But, it goes in my pull folder before it would hit the shelf. No copies on the shelf. Safe to say this was not heavily ordered.
Grabbed the other two Rivals spec books too.

Has anyone encountered Diamond delays this week?
I live in Denver and last week we got books literally the day of release at noon, and this week, luckily, they came in yesterday.

was just looking at sales of this Rivals book a few days ago thinking i took the big L.
2 days later, its looking, maybe, possibly, like a W

anyone else unable to give away their Spider-Man Rivals book? I have it at $20, and itās still not moving. Very few views.

Could we maybe create a new Modern Comics Heating Up 2025 thread and make a new one each year? This is one of the most viewed threads, and part 1 or part 2 seems less useful than by year. If Iām the only one on this idea, feel free to disregard.

I have no problems with it.
I pre-ordered or got some of the Rival covers the day they came out. I didnāt get the Storm #4 though. If some of these coves start selling for $35 to $40 i really canāt see them holding that value long term, short printed or not.
At this point if you really wanted one but didnāt get itā¦hold off. If you still really want it this time next year they will probably be half or less than what they are going for now. Maybe one stays hot for whatever reason, but odds areā¦ probably not. Of course, if you did land some for cover and donāt care if they stay in the pc, sell away!!!

Which is actually on par with Part 1ā¦it ran from May ā19 through Feb ā24.

I am surprised I canāt get rid of my Venom Rivals books. Iāve even sent offers at $30 while others are selling at $35, so not sure.
My copies of venom and magik sold for $30 each. Spidey sits at $20. I put my Storm at $35, which might be too much.
Iād hang tight on that Storm at $35, reading around not many of these were ordered. Out of all these Rivals books, it could be the one to surpass Magik Rivals.
