Venom #18 was pretty good explains Knulls origin a bit more. That the celestials were trying to recruit Knull when he killed them. Explains that Knulls purpose was to ascend a new King In Black to the mantle and that Eddie may have to be like Knull one day to create a new King in Black and continue the line. Light magic comes from the beyonders (Kings of Ivory) and beyond and above this universe. Dark magic comes from the King In Black who is at the core of this universe. Neither magic is good or bad and either can be used for good and bad. However dark magic comes with the side effect of conquest which creates villains. We do see Eddie in the Knull armor like one of the covers also a panel of some future possible venoms and past venoms. Eddie now can time travel at will apparently, one of the powers of the King In Black. The King in Black maybe one of the most powerful entities in all Marvel whose power rivals the Beyonders as a whole.
There’s a direct link to us talking about book and it selling. I’m pretty sure this book will be heading down since no one knows a thing about the character besides what his costumes look like and his super hero name. Is there a transgender or gay/lesbian spider-man yet?

Looking at the number of 1:100 that were or are available on ebay, I come to the conclusion that the shops are trying to influence the market by holding back on listing all the copies they have. I am listing all my copies because this ship is sinking.
1:100 Ross sits at ratio. How many are wishing they’d invested that $80 or whatever they paid in the spoiler cover?
Meanwhile 2nd print 1:25 pre-sells for $80-$100. Watch it be a virgin copy of the spoiler…
I ordered 2 of the 1:25 second prints from Golden Apple the day they went up.
I do fear that 1:100 could end up a dud even though I did buy one myself.
I sold a bunch of the spoiler variant and used the cash to buy two 1:100s. Either I’m at break-even, or I’ve leveraged up, we’ll see…

So, Spider-boy is the next Miles. “This” is the one this time, right?
His costume does give me Miles vibes.
Here are the things I see that are going for this book:
- Hero
- Young and clearly aimed towards a younger audience - basically an instant Next-Gen Hero
- Contained in a book that by far and away has the largest reader base in all of Marvel Comics
- “Side Kick” - This implies that Spider Boy will be a major and commonly used character if this description is taken literally
- No store variants
- The spoiler is a variant and some shops only order Cover A
- Only one ratio offered; the 1:100 Ross
I see Spider Man 7 Spoiler Variant being bigger than BP 3. For the reasons above and if the “side-kick” thesis plays out.
Oh one more reason…
The economy
Shops are ordering less because they’re selling less versus 12 months ago.
Another reason also imho is that it has that look of an iconic cover, could be a major key in the future.

Jeez y’all touting this like it’s the second coming of Jesus lmao. I really hope some of you tamper your expectations on this book, y’all getting set up for disappointment.
These came this morning, have 10 more coming if everything ships. I plan on keeping all the secret variant covers and selling the other covers to pay for the initial costs. I may sell a couple if needed, but hopefully I won’t have to. This has literally everything you could hope for in a spec book, imo.
