yeah, DC did a free 1:1 overship to shops after FOC, so they are swimming in them.
Now they are sending even more (without the ticket offer) because of a printing error… so we were swimming, now shops will be drowning in this issue.

There were pages that didn’t belong in the book
My wife took my boys out to a random comic book store and my youngest saw some “It’s Jeff” comic books. He got the 1:25 cuz it was shiny foil lol.
They went to the counter and the guys told my wife “this comic is priced at $17 cuz its in VF condition.” My wife said “Ok, he’s going to read it anyways. He likes the cover.” He gave a shoked look.
Like whaaa kids read comics lol.
I guess my kid is a unique child to read comics regardless of the condition lol.

I’m wondering what the Jeff foil will do long-term, even if they’re reusing the art for the 2nd print. My main LCS ordered at least 50 copies across all covers and was down to 1 foil by Thursday.
Picked up Cap 1 because it’s Zdarsky, my favorite writer next to Lemire and Alan Moore. Also got A League of Extraordinary Gentleman Absolute edition.
Cap 1 is interesting. I’d like to see where Zdarsky takes this super soldier David Colton character. Don’t sleep on this series.

I actually went to the comic shop and picked up Cap #1 as well, just because of Zdarsky. Everything else on the shelf wasn’t even appealing for me. I’m mostly in it for the read but the art looked good too.

I’m collecting older X-Men trying to fill gaps in my collection. Working the 75-100 level right now.
This is in stores next Wednesday. At FoC the art was not available so it may have gone under ordered. Not my favorite Tarusov but not bad.

I hear the Big Rig Box thing got screwed up, not that we should be surprised. The boxes are serial numbered and if you got consecutive numbers or numbers really close to each other it looks like you’ll get the same “chase comic” in those boxes. Someone posted an image with 6 of the 1:500 Momoko variants from 6 boxes. Big Clutch had 4 serial numbers fairly close to each other and they all had the 1:85 Maria Wolf.
