Whatās the availability of the Venom Ito variant looking like on the shelves? Domestic copies seem to be gone on eBay. Iāve got a couple pulled at a shop. Not sure if itās worth doing the rounds or not.

I sold five copies of 59 for 6-8.99. Not sure why it doesnāt show there.

I had zero luck with any Venom Ito or the Captain America variant with Mephisto/the Devil.
I got them both. 4 Caps. Sold 3 already. Also got a couple of the Jock Daredevils because it is such a good cover.

Quick flips always drop. If they have staying power they will go back up. If not, dollar bin. I sold three of my four. Same thing with Denver virgins. Sold 3 or 4

I dont know why people keep pumping quick flips. Front loaded books always crash.

The price always falls when buyers undercut and interest disappears. You have a 2-3 day window after the books comes out to sell for maximum profit, then

Look at X-men #35 (Tokon Magik cover) down to $11-$15 now or Denver 1 Panosian virgin, down to $20 sold now (was $35-$40 last week). Not worth the time to flipā¦
I know some of you guys like to chase/flip HOT release books week-after-week, but arent you tired of the rat race ?

Yes. But Iām just more selective these days. The Cap 15 was the first in a while I ordered more.
I notice when books are pre-selling above $25 they usually take a little longer to fall. So I took the chance on that book. I donāt think Iāll lose money, anyway.
The Venom 261 I passed on because despite being sold out it wasnāt commanding a premium. If that changes today maybe Iāll see if my shop has a copy. They usually donāt carry variants anyway.
I love the rat race. I love when I can buy a book on Weds that I donāt want that sells immediately and pays for all of my pulls. Itās not for everyone, but I enjoy the game.

Sold three copies of it at $30. Purchased 4. Listed Tuesday night. Have one left of a book I enjoyed and love the cover for. Not a problem for me. I could sell the last copy for $1 and still have turned a great profit on all of them.
Same with the Mephisto cover for Cap. Sold 3 of 4 at a great profit. Essentially $15 into $90 and have one left.
Some of it is for fun. I love flipping books. Some of it is to get eyes on my listings. Have sold some books this week that have sat out there for a while.
My average sale is literally things I have rescued from dollar bins or otherwise bought cheap.

Iām old school - buy and hold. Been doing this since the 1980s.

this is a tactic i like using. flipping some books and not using promoted listings has helped my listings be seen or sell.
Timing is always key when doing quick flips. If you can get your hands on that book early, then all power to you since a lot of the hype creates pre-sales day demand and people just want to get that warm fuzzy theyāre getting that book whether they canāt make it to shops, didnāt pre-order it, etc.
And the golden rule is alwaysā¦ if you missed out and donāt want the book to keep, read, collectā¦ then itās okay, move on to the next one. No regrets everā¦ buy what you like as well and what you can afford.
