hey hey! i’m on here repping my awesome husband, who just got through 2 years of cancer treatment (successfully!) by sorting, slabbing, and putting up his childhood comics collection for sale. at first he was doing it to try to provide for me and our kiddo if treatment didnt go well, but now he’s had a miraculous recovery and so a portion of the proceeds are going to kids’ cancer research at memorial sloan kettering (where he was treated). trying to spread the word about what he’s got up on my comic shop and ebay but i dont want to come straight in with advertising…would love to connect with folks who might be interested! (slabbed runs of kirby/bronze age, lots of bronze individual books as well as underground comix/r crumb, and then weird and rare stuff/keys thru the 90s!!)

Welcome aboard. Perhaps getting your husband on the forums to chat and contribute is in good order. Some folks will be skeptical if the push to sales is immediate, and likely flag them as spam. These forums are built on establishing trust… so slowly over time maybe dive into the selling portion after you get to know more folks as we got a lot of members who stick around for the chats and discussions.
