But I didn’t think you were allowed to order more than one copy is a particular variant the week of release. I don’t think it lets you check out with a book if you already ordered it.
Midtown comics you could keep ordering their limit 1 books as long as they were separate orders.
Ratios are limited to 2 per account, per condition.
If you place an order for 2 NM copies & 2 VF copies, their software wont let you place another order for those again , I think until the order ships.
I picked up a copy of Sherlee Johnson #3 1:25 for $30 from MCS last Monday (it was listed earlier than usual).
They ended up canceling my order and re-listing them on Tuesday for much higher ($70). When I asked why, they said they were originally listed before street date so had to be removed.
What is considered street date for online comic shops? I thought as long as the comics don’t end up in customer’s hands before Wednesday, there is no infraction of street date.
Any thoughts?
I believe they are referring to the Tuesday (evening) the week of release.
But sometimes incentives don’t get listed until Wednesday or even Thursday that week.
By listed before street date they mean before they checked eBay prices.
