That’s what I ended up with. It’s a good prize nonetheless.
Not at all. Some months it’s a small profit, some months it’s a loss. Overall for a year it’s usually about break even. Shipping is more than a lot of people usually guess it is in their heads because we’ve gotten so used in recent years to free or subsidized shipping from companies like Amazon, WalMart, eBay, etc.
Ultimately if you can negotiate a deal with a local shop you pick things up at, it’s going to be cheaper per book to do it that way because you avoid shipping. But on the other hand, you’re taking time to go pick it up, using gas, putting a little more wear on your car, etc. So it may cost more than just calculating price per comic * number of comics.

. Was helping my daughter with a circuit for a school project and missed the 1:25 again.
Edit: it’s a cool circuit though, so I wouldn’t trade the time I spent.

That’s because this wasn’t a full incentive drop. Seems like someone in purchasing was just making the records for the incentive that were in the MAR catalog and adding a few quantities based on current pre-orders.
