The 405 Method Not Allowed error occurs when the web server is configured in a way that does not allow you to perform a specific action for a particular URL. It’s an HTTP response status code that indicates that the request method is known by the server but is not supported by the target resource.
Hmmm… if you got IP banned, normally it just drops your packet and you don’t even get an error. If they’re doing this via the webserver, seems like an awful way to ban someone since each hit uses resources.
The best way to ban is just send all your traffic to a black hole, HTTP server doesn’t even see the damn request… that’s how I do such things myself.
I hate that crap as well and agree it totally ruins the ratios with the higher print runs. I wish I would have skipped Bounty Hunters 1:50 now. Batman was just as bad…
