Nothing easier than ordering right off of the Previews website with Pullbox.
@AngryMrBungle I’ve wondered about that. How does it work? Pay advance? Or when order is ready? Discount? Or cover? Shipping info? Thanks in advance
Yeah I had a massive order set for today but only dc and dark horse stuff processed
I guess we have to assume the last week of our cycle will exclude any diamond books from that week.
Beeda’s uses Previews Pullbox and I love it. I just go to the FOC section and make my weekly order. Pay when you want them to ship. 35% off is also the best discount I’ve seen.
It all depends on the shop you order through using Pullbox. Stores can all have different set ups and discounts and what not so it will vary from shop to shop
What’re their shipping costs like?
Thank you very much. I appreciate your sharing this with us.
It depends on how many books you order. Standard FedEx rates for me.
No problem. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge from this forum so I’m glad I could help out too.
Re: Beeda’s: 35% off for FOC? Their email says, “Final order cutoff weekly and general orders of in stock items are a standard 10% discount.”
I do all my weekly orders off the FOC that Previews lists. And yes I get a 35% discount. I contacted them directly before I set up an account with them. You do have to order a certain amount of books to qualify for the 35% discount which is the highest tier discount. I believe it’s 30 books a month but you would have to ask to be sure.
Oh so its previews but through a store? So you bypass the store? Why not order from store directly
30 a month? Shiiiiiit I hit about 40 a week imma check them out.
I am nearing done with TFAW as well if something does not change. Orders seem to take forever.
No, Pullbox is what the stores can use for their online pre-orders. Previews just hosts Pullbox for retailers really. You are ordering directly from the shop. Shops can choose to use Pullbox or their own website or whatever
Within the next week or two we’ll begin having a weekend-only shift for the warehouse. So we’ll have two shifts each week day, and then a weekend shift. (As opposed to our week day shift staff overextending themselves.) So that should help some at least. Longer term we’re working on expanding warehouse space to double the amount of packing stations we can concurrently operate, but obviously that’s not something happening right away.
If you guys would start shipping anything over 5 books in a box, that would be appreciated. It will mostly eliminate damages which would more than cover the cost of using boxes. Midtown can do it for half the price through UPS. It’s essentially media without the restrictions.
You all want me to take a week off from work, drive up there and help out? I love Oregon. Just pay me with beer and I’ll do it…
