They’ve started this on some of the books. I dont begrudge them this - its a speccers game that most everyone is playing. My issue has mostly been with their shipping and postage issues.

I just think it’s funny that everyone thinks they are speculators, now. They should probably leave it to people who know what they are doing, otherwise they will be stuck with books they can’t sell. When inventory is taking up your profit margin, that’s a problem for stores with overhead.

Hopefully TFAW is better than I. It reminds me of McKays which went out of business, and I feel the same way about BAM and Barnes&Noble now. But I dont know much about running a business.
Damn, BCC prices are all over the place?. Most of their ratios are super high…example they want $44 for the Last Ronin #5 1:10. I can get it for $15 or a little cheaper on Insta/FB

My shop asked $10 for it. I turned it down as I should be getting one from TFAW…
That’s the first time they every asked for more than cover for a ratio that was sitting on the shelf.

Trying to sell above market price is not very good speculating. Hopefully, they get stuck with more and more of their overpriced variants.

I agree when it’s pre-order or week of release, but if it’s now a week or more past the release date, I stop caring if they mark the price up to market sales. I just choose to not buy at said market price.

And even then during the big sales, some still don’t sell… variants are special and most of them drop drastically in value over time rather than go up. It’s only first appearances of now very popular characters that also end up on the cover that are the true winners when it comes to ratio variants.
