Usually means it’s sold out but the front end hasn’t updated yet

I know that but I clicked on these links as soon as they went up, and don’t tell me Robin #1 lasted longer than that joker #2 or the dark Knight #1

A few more that dropped today:
Avengers 44 garron design 1:10
Avengers 44 momoko virgin 1:10
Black widow 6 casagrande design 1:10
Green lantern 1:25

Damn it i wanted the joker 2 punchline!

They have a Robin team variant offered at tfaw so probably had more Robin 1 1:25 than the others because of it

There are a few on there like this that I would love to get. I assume it’s just their website hasn’t caught up to the orders that have been placed. Does anyone know if that is the case? I am relatively new to tfaw and I’ve never seen this before on any web store. If I missed the boat on something- ok it happens. But to have the website taunting me with something I want, it shows it available, but no- you can’t have- well it makes me mad. They should be able to design the website to once a comic is gone it’s removed from the website- it says ‘sold out’. Sorry- I don’t usually rant like this, but I’ve never seen this before on a webstore.

Keep checking the forum. I put them up when they are dropped from csrts and stuff. Problem is so many people are grabbing them and if you are not on when the links hit the forum they can be snatched up.

I appreciate the feedback Mrwilson and that is something we’ve been looking for solutions to. There’s a lot of moving parts and customization done on our site to take into account how pre-orders and subscriptions work. Usually when something sells out within a minute or so at the most it says out of stock, but in some cases if something on the back end freezes or gets stuck it takes longer to update the stock status or needs to be manually run.

This never used to be as big of a concern/issue until the last 2-3 months when people began swarming the site to purchase incentives like a Mondo drop. Believe it or not, even with the exact same pricing structure, this time last year we weren’t even ordering the max incentives we qualified for on a lot of Marvel/DC titles because we always ended up with extras we had to sell at a dollar or throw out when they got too old.

As for your point @Bluecontroller I can’t say how many of anything we got obviously, but even though Anthony is usually one of the faster people finding/posting links publicly, there are still a lot of people who DON’T post them and just order for themselves. Despite conspiracy theories he doesn’t get notice or links to share immediately when stuff goes live and has to find them just like anyone else, so there’s no guarantee things aren’t almost sold out by the time they get posted here :stuck_out_tongue:.

There’s one customer who has been the first person to order every single SIKTC incentive we’ve had listed. And that’s the only incentive they ever buy. I still haven’t figured out how they pull that off, considering the first time incentives for series we have higher order numbers for go up with a couple of copies truly is random.

What I want to know is how and when do these incentives go up exactly. It’s so random it throws me off. MON there are cart drops. When new books get added it’s like when do the incentives go up? After people preorder and you get an amount?

I’m not sure how random it is but it doesn’t seem like there is a specific time that they drop consistently. Honestly, I wish it were more random than it is to throw people off now and then lol.

Knowing when variants go up could be a “careful what you wish for” scenario once more than a couple people knew or figured it out. :unamused:

I mean I hear you but other sites list early or when they drop the new issues. But I guess TFAW is tired of overstock so they are limiting it to what’s specifically ordered.
