You would think if they got more in stock maybe theyā€™d add one to my locked qty of ā€œ0ā€ā€¦

Nope.

Iā€™m interested in how they plan on fulfilling thisā€¦

The weird thing is I donā€™t recall seeing High Republic #3 1:25 for sale at TFAWā€¦to see issue 4 drop today was a surprise.

Thing is, these are large orderS Iā€™m sure and theyā€™ll get more inā€¦so still a chance for Star Wars except Dr. Aphra. Gotta be lucky thoughā€¦

Mine was locked and I just received my Shipping Confirmation for this week and it was finally includedā€¦so there is hope

Without seeing anything else itā€™s hard to tell what the 0 is for. If you contacted CS about it and they changed it to a 1 (or added to the number) it should have fulfilled that before any new pre-orders, though.

Yeah, I even dug back through and no one here ever mentioned seeing the #3 1:25 that I can find. (I was looking because I was mad at myself for missing it and wondered when it was).

I just thought it was weird because looking back I added the 1:25 variants for issues 1 and 2 on or within a few days of FOC.

Issue 3 FOC is next week. Issue 4 is 3/15. So I donā€™t think issue 3 1:25 has been offered yet. But today weā€™re seeing issue #4 1:25ā€¦and offered for less than what 1 & 2 were priced ($19.99).

Something strange happened the last few days with some of these books. TFAW mixin it up a bit.

Iā€™m guessing but people likely got on the high republic bandwagon and subscribed to it and their preorders supported x amount of 1:25s already.

Perhapsā€¦and maybe after they hot a certain threshold they release some at any given time?

Because I think the ones i picked up may have been a second round of copies released before FOC as they were not cart drops. Itā€™s not uncommon for these to pop up vice the onesy twosey cart drops.

TFAW will somewhat randomly release a bunch pre-FOC for 30% off, then whatever is left closer to FOC for 20% off. But, sometimes that price difference is much bigger between those two moments.

The only real way to get what you want consistently is to quit your job, abandon your family, and hit refresh 39,482 times a day.

Speaking of which, @RipCityGamer, you should add a google ad in your siteā€™s footer. Iā€™d bet your site gets a crazy amount of page views.

Damn. Stupid job. Iā€™ve been stalking tfaw for high republic 1:25 for the last 3 days. Mustā€™ve dropped during one of the times I was working. Oh well- win some lose some. I donā€™t remember seeing high republic 3 1:25 either. I got lucky and managed to get a 1:25 of 1 and 2, so I was hoping to get 3, 4 etc. I guess my streak stops at 2.

Yeah but then you canā€™t fully control whatā€™s on your site. And itā€™s more effective for us to use space promoting things we sell than ads for other companies.

I started my career as an editor for gaming news sites (from the size of ones no longer existing to ones in IGNs tier) and the drop off in ad revenue for sites based on display ads is ridiculous these days.

That makes sense as both 1&2 were $20, unlike issue 4 at $17.50 today.

Itā€™s 30% pre-FOC, 20% on FOC or later. Thatā€™s why you see different prices.

And you get a quantity ā€œ0ā€ in your pre-orders when you already have 1 in your pre-orders, itā€™s a limit 1, and you try to add another copy. Itā€™s just a glitch. Typically if itā€™s different days. Has happened to me before. It will not get fulfilled.

how long does an comic have to be out before tfaw clearances it off on there dollar sales?

Dollar sales are pretty much when we need to or want to just clear out older things. Or want to drive up traffic to the site. Thereā€™s no set schedule to them, but I try to do at least 2-3 a year.

As far as how old a comic would be to be part of it it depends. Could be 60 days old, could be 90, could be 180. Just kind of depends on whatā€™s in the warehouse.
