Its about refreshing your cache, if your cache hasn’t refreshed even though they are searchable, they will not show up in your search. The books show up here and are sold out because they can sell out while I am generating the links.
There were very few copies available this week for most of the books.
There is no incentive for TFAW to offer the links up earlier here. They make less money because we use affiliate links, which generates a small commission for the site. So they are better off not letting us know as there are so many people who look for them to drop the variants anyway, we are not the only ones looking for these.
I honestly haven’t figured out how you guys are finding ratios on TfAW. Do you have to search individual titles all the time or is there a filter or page that I’m over looking?
I’m thinking they don’t really want to tell people that. It’s a nice little bonus for CHU readers so they prob don’t want to give away the secret sauce.
TFAW sells the best ratios for the same prices and mediocre and bad ones. Its always going to be hard to get the best ones unless you are constantly refreshing the page. There are only so many to go around.
I rarely bought ratios since the dawn of ratios existence.
I’ve started since joining the forum and have bought a few here and there.
But honestly, when I miss out, after the 1st initial “shucks”; I’m kinda happier later as I realize I can put that money in a better place.
We’ve all been around the block here and know the typical path of 95% of variants after awhile. And it is not the same path of blue chips. That’s for sure.
I am not sure when it became rocket science to search a website for comics you want? Like way too many people think there is some secret formula or back room deals with tfaw employees in order to get ratios. I have no affiliation with CHU other than just being a member here in the forums and I find ratios just fine
Literally I just search the damn website for what I want. I have a whole section of favorites A-Z for comics with ratios on Tfaw. That’s it. That’s the magic secret to getting ratios on Tfaw. Using the Tfaw search box on the Tfaw website. I’m such a genius I broke the secret code.
I keep getting notifications thinking it’s a new variant then I click on the thread and I’m just reading the messages like

But new items do seem to get posted early hours of the morning or late at night in the UK so you guys seem to get them all before me #IjustwantRobin1:25
Edit - you can’t win them all like everything in life it’s W’s and L’s just take your time no need to jump on every hot variant out there, if you come across one or two and you make profit that’s more than most & I know TFAW does them uber cheap but diversify yourself it doesn’t matter if it’s more expensive elsewhere if you can still make profit even if it’s $3 thats 3 slices of pizza in a lot of places, it’s more than what most people have or 3 dollar bin spec books
I don’t think what people realize is the hot books lasts for seconds at times. It takes Anthony some time to not only find them all, but also type up the post. By then things can be sold out.
As you can see from the thread, many people find them before the post happens here. Simply by searching the same way Anthony does. He just spends more time doing it then most so he find more then most.

The other solution is I close the thread and take it to a higher trust level, so make it only for level 2 members or level 3 members. That takes a lot of the eyes off the post. But viewership-wise, this is the most viewed thread on the forum, while High Republic may have the most comments, this one sees more views than any other. Just looked now and it has been viewed 47,000 times. In fact if you google TFAW Variant, it is the second and third search term just under tfaw’s own link
It’s not like we are the only people buying from Tfaw either. They have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of customers who have never even heard of the CHU forums probably lol
