Yeah, that one hurts. I was a big fan of his. His work with Neal Adams and especially Gene Colan was nothing short of magnificent. I will be looking through my Tomb Of Dracula series tonight.

On average since 1952, 50 million people die per year. That means since Elizabeth was coronated 3.5 billion people have died. 1 billion more than the population at the time (2.5 billion).
However todays population is about to pass 8 billion. So that means 10.5 billion have been born. More than 4 times the population in 1952. Or nearly 3 times that died.
All while she was queen.

Yeah, I made this thread with the optimistic hope it would be about how 2022 was a great year full of joy. It turned into a lengthy, “In Memorium,” thread.
That’s a shame. Breathless was a great film. Sounds like he went out on his own terms. There’s something to be said for that. Still will be missed tho
