The con looks fun this year, but I’m still glad I didn’t go. I’m getting too old to deal with lines and crowds.
I’ll wait a year for the exclusives to go down in price, only to not even want them anymore anyways. Great way to save money!

In line at 9:50 at the courtyard io. Line wraps around once. One minute per person. Could be there a few hours!

It’s about 45 seconds a person on average. The MC slows it down with his embellishments. Could be 30

Took about 1 hr 20 minutes starting from a lap around the booth.
Here’s what I got. My first graded card!
Watching about 100 prizes, I will say it was like they just grabbed someone’s random collection practically worthless comics and cards and slabbed them up…then every 20-40 threw in a nice one.
Everything is pre-set, because all the prizes come out of a cabinet already in order of the winner. It was still fun. But not worth spending 1-2 hrs of your time if you only had one day.

Update: One person said it only included the original tech 880…but when I went to pay they said $100. 
. So I said “I’m out!!” And walked away.
Went to hang out with Dekal ($5) and Jason Howard ($10) for a bit and tell them how much I enjoy their work.

The Whatnot booth was wrapped around…and it did not look like there were moving fast at the registers….im guessing a 2 hr wait to get an exclusive there…passing on this…Inmay check again later.

This was confusing. They had three books to hand out. But it wasn’t clear they were completely different books. So they handed me a stack and said “take one and pass along”. So I grabbed the Void Rivals cover not realizing it was just issue 22 (book on the left)
Fortunately one of the staff handed me an ashcan convention exclusive (book on the right) but other may not have been so lucky.
Selling consistently over $50.

There are A LOT of people for the Marvel “Next Big Thong panel. I understand why they have the same giveaway for the one that follows…likely won’t get back in to the next one if I leave.
If that happens just means I can grab a bite and do some final bin diving!
