I thought that this could be a totally different GI…but what are the chances they are both of the same rare species? Its not hard to imagine as any die they are replaced by someone and given the title…but again, that species seems pretty rare…and I doubt the 1st 2 GI would be THAT same species.
Reva is the Jedi youngling they show w the first scene of the show training. Then as their Master dies and they decide to run, the camera zooms in on her as the others look to her. 100% that young girl is Reva
So is reva 15 ish? Isn’t this show 10 years after order 66? How old are those younglings?
Good catch @gemcityassassin! They def focus on her over the others.
I think I could “believe” the kiddos could be in 7-9 age range which could work
Another note, as the very first glimpse of the students unfolds, it is that particular student they center on specifically as the camera zooms in to begin the show.
I’m certain we will see Cal Kestis in an upcoming episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
This could be a play on words, but the actor who plays Cal, Cameron Monaghan hinted on this back in March.
We know that the timeline fits perfectly with the series, and Cal not only fought the Inquisitors and Vader but also visited Fortress Inquisitorius, which we know is a location in the series. Cal had also seen Obi-Wan in a Holocron in the game.
To top things off, both Rupert Friend and Ewan McGregor have spoken about crossovers between games and the series.
Rupert Friend, who portrays the Grand Inquisitor in the series, mentioned how much he loves how the “Star Wars universe [has been doing] that crossover thing” and went on to give the specific example of “crossing over into a movie or back into a game.
Obi-Wan Kenobi himself, Ewan McGregor, mentioned how during the process of figuring out the show, they had to “coordinate with each other” to make sure canon never contradicted, as they “[couldn’t] have a character in our story that doesn’t exist in that timeline in the videogame.
This is a highly unlikely stretch, but Disney might even surprise us by giving us a taste of the non-canon Inquisitor Cal
In terms of Comic Speculation though, we have yet to see Cal in a comic apart from a mention of him in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Dark Temple #5.
As a bonus, that issue also features the Lost Twenty, who we know includes a very interesting, Jedi Master Trennis.
Im buying this.
So if I’m Anakin and I’m making my new super villain suit I think the top of my list would be making the suit fireproof, just sayin😆
I just watched the 1st 2 episodes and like the previous Disney Star Wars offerings I did enjoy very much so far. (I’m a casual Star Wars fans - enjoy the movies and shows but don’t read the books or comics).
What has bothered me and continues to bother me during these shows is there is one character per show that just annoys the hell out of me. The Mandalorian and Boba Fett had Pelli Motto - just poor acting, poor character; poor lines. And for this show my focus is on this “3rd sister”. I’m just not feeling it. I don’t know if it’s her lines; her acting; the scowls when acting… but my gosh … something is annoying there and not very good at giving a feeling of dread & fear about the character
Episode 3 was better. Young Leia is still annoying and pointless. Third Sister isnt much better. I dont care about the Inquisitors.
But really, the fans just want scenes with Darth Vader and Obi Wan. Thats all
Looking forward to it! (when I get the chance to finally watch). Maybe during “work” today
Inquisitors should just be absolute terror invoking bad asses. Fear with just a simple glance. The loud, over the top, let me see your war face, business doesn’t work for them.
I think of characters like the Yul Brunner’s cowboy in Westworld, Robert Patrick’s (or even Arnolds Terminator), Rebecca Ferguson’s Rose the Hat in Doctor Sleep, Angelina as Maleficent (when she’s bad), Michael Biehn’s Johnny Ringo. Many examples out there.
Just a few examples of really intimidating bad asses that accomplished it by the less is more deal.
Remember when we first met Vader way back when…good lord he was intimidating. These inquisitors should be the same way. They seem like a bunch of clowns to me.
Star Wars #17 - Fella who first appears there gets mentioned
Bringing back James Earl Jones was a very nice touch
Yea the 3rd Sister is HORRIBLE in every aspect of the show but now I feel bad b/c the actor has received so much hateful backlash already.
I honestly didn’t even know about the backlash.
But I figured I wasn’t the only one who felt this way.
Yea Moses Ingram is the actresses name. There’s been a bunch of articles on it at this point. Ewan McGregor even made a video to address it.
