Problem is most times after liquidation there is nothing left to continue on with

But it’ll be different next time…

Yeah, this is why you always incorporate or LLC, so yeah, the business is on the hook and if there’s no more business, then nothing to give and it doesn’t affect those personally at the company or owned the company. But that’s why I think in some cases, those who are owed money should be able to go after the actual people responsible within the company. Bankruptcy shouldn’t be a free pass for those who can’t run a effing business in my opinion…

Yeah, clean slate… I get to fsck up again and again without any repercussions.

FYI, moved the 1099-k discussion to the irs tax laws thread.

If there are any “rookie cards” of popular characters I’ll be looking for those. But otherwise, these will all be about chase cards, like any other card set.

pretty sure this is like 20 years old, just thought it was cool so posted it

The comic trading card gimmick…

Smh

Did nobody learn anything from the 90s…???

Ah. All are still relevant…so you fooled me…

Trading cards frustrate the hell out me now.
Never easy to find or order & absurd prices right out of the gate.
Clearly I understand that times have changed & I’m naive, but one of the highlights of my childhood years was the fun of buying, collecting, trading cards with friends.
Sports cards, Star Wars cards, just about all of the wax pack cards that were associated with things I loved.

It’s just not really an accessible hobby anymore. They don’t even sell “packs” for the non sport cards.

There is a new Scooby-Doo upper deck product…only booster boxes at $150 ish.

Hobby stores rarely break boxes for packs either so it’s not an option.

Bah humbug…1st world problems and all but still.

Good ‘ol days of comic collecting and card collecting are long gone, for sure.

The amount of parallels in cards blows my mind. There are like 50 different colors/designs for a card. I saw the scooby-doo hits and thought it was going to be a cheap set to collect. $150 is bonkers. Scooby-dooby-don’t think so.

Something to keep an eye out for. We were caught of guard with Rivals…

Trinity War and Forever Evil

rivals worked cause they leaned into pvp and boobs, dc game looks to cartoony

Maybe they want to cater to a wider range of ages…

so fortnite

DC multiplayer games always fail
