Odds and Ends

The other possibility is that it was put on the wrong truck…and took a left turn at Albuquerque…

I’ve had that happen a few times:

Working with a patient the other day. Sweetest gal. Her husband was an avid collector of old models and vintage toys. He loved them dearly. Pretty valuable stuff I guess. Pretty healthy guy. Just retired. Diagnosed with advanced cancer…died 5 weeks later.
She just sold all of stuff in a massive lot for 10k as it was unbearable to her. Broke my heart.

Needless to say…the last couple of nights…an awful lot of my comics went into my $2 and $5 dollar boxes that I was a bit hesitant to part with. Sometimes you just need a bit of a nudge.

And… don’t get me wrong, I’m not perfect… I’m still knee deep in “stuff”.

Ok. My Canadian people.
My son needs help getting a plush from McDonald’s. I guess they are doing Hello Kitty/ Yu-Gi-Oh plushes.
And Canada is one of the places that released a Hello Kitty character with Red Eyes Black Dragon.

See attached picture.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t been to Mcdonald’s in nearly a decade. I’ll keep an eye out and let you know if I see one.

I hadn’t ate there in 7yrs. 4 months ago I broke my streak. No where to eat, busting 16hr days. Had to get something in the belly lol.

These came out here in the Philippines early this year. I’ll see if I can track one down, but shipping from here to North America is super expensive.

Yup. They where released everywhere else but the US.

I think Canada will be cheaper to ship.

Thank you though

Can anyone confirm that this is a normal thing? I bought a few signed copies of Nice House by the Sea #1 (signed by JT4 via Midtown). The B cover that I got has the A cover inside. Is this a double cover mistake or just a standard thing DC does for B covers?

It seems odd that the inner A cover would have the A bar code. You’d think if that was intentional, that would be potentially confusing.

Yes i have seen DC do this with other books when they have a variant. For example if they have a blank variant i have noticed that is just a blank cover over the original A cover.

Don’t know if they’re doing it to save costs or what buy yeah i have noticed it in other dc books. Not sure if all of them are like that.

Its a pretty common thing with a lot of variants, the inside will have the main cover

I watch a lot of movies and will watch anything with a shark in it. Can’t figure out why so many movies are released about sharks with such poorly animated sharks.

Meg was so bad it was good but the sharks hold up and look good.

Jaws set the standard and damn if the sharks don’t still look realistic.

Just watched “Something in the Water” and am like damn, why did you make a decent movie with such bad sharks.

My favorite silly shark movie is, “Deep Blue Sea.” I say, “Silly,” because flicks like, “Jaws,” are legit terrifying but a movie where LL Cool J stabs a super-smart shark in the eye with a cross necklace is just good fun.

Did you sit through Cocaine Shark?

You mean, “Cocaine Bear,” right? Or did I miss the opportunity to see a great rip-off/parody?

I just make sure to carry a few extra cans with me when out in salt water…

JULY 23rd post.

Do not go back for the briefcase…

Yes I did. Terrible.

If you thought that was bad, try sitting through COCAINE WEREWOLF…
