its Vermont, and wasn’t violent crime

Every time I see the name Ezra Miller, can’t help but think of the band Better than Ezra.

What is the meaning of Ezra?

help

Origin: Ezra comes from the Hebrew word azar meaning “help,” “aid,” or “protect.”

Seems fitting…or ironic.

Ezra is gonna fall harder than a cancelled Batgirl movie,

I’m curious to hear what is the defense from Miller’s side. I know it’s always easy to get aggravated each time there’s a breaking news about them but I’m curious what they have to say to put things into perspective.

That’s the thing is I’ve lived in Hawaii for 20 years so I can understand sometimes you might have to throw a chair at somebody.

Trailer looks good for Wednesday Addams Family

Looks a million times better than Rob Zombie’s Munsters trainwreck.

Just finished binging all 6 episodes of this. Love the Tekken game series and played a lot of 3 that this is based on. Was a pretty good watch if you’re familiar with the series and the fight scenes were done well. My only complaints is too many fights for fan favorite characters get brushed by and happen off screen. Solid 6/10

Marvels reprinting facsimiles, there goes any market on those.

Marvel has always done this, Marvel Reprints Facsimile Editions of Pivotal X-Men Issues in July, Ads and All

Don’t think it hurts the market all that much. People still want them if they miss out. I always grab the facsimiles any chance I get if I can get it for cover price or less.

Hi guys I’m finding myself in a “old man yells at cloud” moment. Just want to know if anybody else feels this way. Youtube has been my main source of entertainment on my TV for a while now, I consume that more than any shows or sports. I get to subscribe to the content that I like (mainly comic book news, NBA basketball/sports talk, TV shows reviews/recap, cooking recipes and other stuff that I enjoy).

What I’m noticing is a recent trend on the youtube thumbnail images that really gets my blood boiling. I’ve unsubscribed to so many channels because of this. What I’m talking about is the exaggerated shocked/surprised clickbaity facial expressions used in the youtube thumbnail images. I absolutely despise them. It wouldn’t bother me as much if only a few do it from time to time but my timeline is filled by every youtuber doing it on every single one of their videos. It obviously works as they wouldn’t keep doing it.

I can’t put it into words how much it bothers me to the point I have to unsubscribe from the channel. I ABSOLUTELY HATE these faces and the clickbaity nature of the images. Please tell me I’m not alone in this. Some of the more wholesome channels that I enjoy are doing this also like Reggie Collects. Can’t everyone just be like JimComics? He never resorts to these cheap tactics to get people to watch his videos.

I only watch @Anthony 's youtube videos because he forces me to watch them (because you know, I’m chained to his wall). Other than that, I’m pretty immune to watching youtube…

You are not alone. I stopped watching Reggie Collects myself because of that sort of thing. It’s just too over the top. Doesn’t feel real and is akin to infomercials anymore.

There are a few others I stopped watching because I just didn’t feel they were the average type of collector/buyer/etc. I realize some folks have a ton of money. I’m not salty nor jealous. I just don’t feel that someone who clearly has unlimited funds and goes from having a minimal collection/minimal keys (typically displayed in the background) to having graded copies of just about every big money book displayed (in the background) just a few years later is the average Joe/Jill. I’m not saying it can’t be done with hard work , but I don’t get that vibe with some of these youtubers. Same with videos of “hauls”. There is a difference between a really good find/haul and some luck, versus someone who just can attend a show and buy anything they want because money isn’t an issue. I don’t find enjoyment in watching those/hearing input from those folks.

Totally agree Devildog. I do like to watch spec channels for news and info but I’m finding more and more that these channels do nothing but hype books and pump their store exclusives. I used to like to watch Tales From the Flipside and Drunken Chat as I find the guys informative and entertaining. However within the last few months literally half their show was pumping WhatNot and store exclusives. They were getting a lot of heat from their subscriber base as people were complaining that they were doing an infomercial for WhatNot. They acknowledged it that people were upset that they wouldn’t stop talking about WhatNot nonstop. Turns out that WhatNot were paying these “influencers” a contract to promote WhatNot.

I never heard about how “hot” these Invincible WhatNot exclusives were any where else, but these guys were pumping them every show and causing Fomo with people paying crazy prices for them. I respect what they do and how they build up their user base but as I’m getting more knowledgeable about the industry (thanks to CHU mainly) I’m getting more annoyed at the content that is out there, mainly the fake hype and pump.

I just use YouTube to watch old funny clips of shows and movies. That, and music.
