Trust the plan. It’s 29D chess. No one understands the genius at play. Ignore the fact that more people have been arrested and due to deported for speech than being involved with 
gate, Epstein, Diddy, horrible and depraved acts. Ignore that the Epstein files were total BS, ignore that we still haven’t received all of the JFK files (who or what can we possibly be protecting all these years later) …. Ignore that he wants to build Trump Gaza on the bones of women and children.

Well, I think everyone expected Lemiuex to break it…but he showed how hard it is to stay healthy and play at a high level for that long.
Pretty amazing.
Also amazing, he tied Gretzky with one less game played.

“IF” Lemieux was able to play a full career healthy some of these records held by Gretzky would be help by him. Still, he had ana amazing career.
Auston Matthews is only 27 and will probably hit 400 career goals by seasons end. He is having a down year (for him) but if he can play another twelve or thirteen years with ten of them being at a high level he might challenge the record that Ovechkin will more than likely break tomorrow. Not easy to do but I would think he is the player that has the best odds of doing it at this point in time.

I said move on. We talk about comics not politics. I am not going to sit here and keep repeating that. This is why I don’t like politics. People get all bent out of shape over it.

Our hobby is going to be decimated because ‘politics’. Tariffs will have a profound effect on peoples disposable incomes, and choke the secondary market. If we can’t have a mature discussion on this, then politics wins. We lose.

Here’s a good Odds & Ends post… actually…may be best for another thread even. Please feel free to do so if an admin feels as such.
I decided to head to a local “Card Show” today. It was free,close, and I had nothing else going on. Figured there could be the possibility of a vendor with odd ball comics. It was advertised fairly well but really was a sports card show (and Pokemon). This was at a local VFW…not a massive show.
Anyway… observations:
- Certainly no signs of folks hurting for money. Place was packed & money flows for sports cards like the river Nile.
- The young generation chose cards not comics if I were to make a generalization on what I saw today. Young kids, girls, boys…hauling binders, trading, buying, talking this stuff like old pros…I was impressed and a bit amazed.
- It was both Pokemon & Sports cards…it wasn’t like the kids were Pokemon and older ones were sports…it’s everyone into both.
- New sports cards almost seemed hotter & more popular than anything older.
Sure…comics still have fans…but I go to comic cons all the time…the action, money being spent, trading, and diversity in fans pales in comparison to what I witnessed today.
I wish comics had that sort of excitement.
Oh…one old vendor had a little stack of comics…snagged an Unexpected #133 for $1 … didn’t leave empty handed.
They almost had me buying a Jayden Daniels rookie card for my soon to born 4th grand-daughter. Didn’t want to get taken though so I passed. Those cards are sure shiny and the buying was infectious!

Lol funny you posted this. My boys are both into Pokémon cards. They have been for years. My oldest will not pick up a comic but he sure will pick up some Pokémon booster packs. My youngest is a little more divest, he likes his Pokémon cards, Manga, and last the old comics. Since we cannot afford the originals, I buy him the facsimile editions. And he will read those. New books, not so much. Only new books he reads is Usagi Yojimbo.

I second this. They passed an amendment to get that Federal Income Tax legal back in the past. The only thing we can be sure of in life would be death and taxes.
