Yeah, it’s not a “maximize value” for this. I just like getting a book signed by creators I like for the PC, so I’m leaning Avengers or Vader. Those covers are a little simpler, which makes sigs jump a bit more.
Haven’t met Stegman. I’m struggling a bit to find the right cover for him to sign. Love his work, but it’s just usually busier. I hate to stick to the obvious ones, but this one has such a good signature spot over the skulls.

FYI:
If you use BCW bags, and specifically silver age resealables, they are back-ordered until mid-sept. Amazon is out, and so are my shops. Damn it.
I’m going to have to buy some non-resealables and use tape like cavemen did with their comics. Ugh. Just say no to taped bags.
Make sure it’s painters tape!
I prefer the tape to that little strip of static charged plastic that clings to everything.

I use the writeable 2" sticky tabs. Super easy to remove from mylar bags and I can add notes if I want to

Scotch tape is just such a nightmare if you open the bag. It always rips or stretches the bag. Painter’s tape seems less problematic. But, I’ve gotten good at handling the static-y film strips on the resealables.
I tend to rest a few books on top of one another.
Had an old Strange Tales that I rested on top of one of those re-sealables on my desk. Normally no big deal with regular bags/tape.
But not this re-sealable. I’ll never forget - the entire top of the book that was in VF became attached to the sticky portion. Needless to say it went from Very Fine to Very much in the garbage.

I double bag. So if the tape adheres to something being removed from the bag, it’s the inner bag, not the comic. The inner bag is not taped.

use a bit of painters tape, stick the tabs to the tape and then throw them away

I prefer to use Gerber bags and mylar boards. I’ve ordered so many comics over the years that when I swap the keys into the mylar bags, I just end up with a surplus of polybags and boards
