It was 20 or so. Now it’s gonna be like 30 a month.
One to watch as it seems to have gone unnoticed is Scalped #43, which is the first appearance of Earl Tubbs in Southern Bastards. Copies still super cheap on eBay.
Ugh, I may cancel. Thanks for the heads up! I did with key collector as well. Shennanigans
In response to all the blind bags, Rick and Morty are doing a Blind-bag-less blind bag.

Iron Fist team-up!
Went to a flea market today. Inside was a huge toy/ comic store with absolutely zero organization. Literally goat paths all through the store. Asked the guy about the unpriced comics. He said bring them to him and he would give me a price but most comics were $1-$3 each. I said cool. I poked around, knocked dust off stuff looking, and finally came across a run of Witchblade I needed. Not high demand books but hole filler stuff. I took them to the guy about 12 books, and asked him for a price. He said $60 for the lot. I asked him about his $1-$3 price he said in the beginning. He said well these are hot and I get $5 for them each on whatnot. I left him with the stack of comics in his hand and walked out. No way $1 middle of the run Witchblades should be $5 each.
“these are hot on whatnot” pshh
“Hot on Whatnot,” he says.
Okay then, jackass, resell them there for an even better profit by your logic. Then pay fees and shipping for the $5 and make less than giving them to Tony for two or three bucks each.
I have been getting copies of Witchblade for .50 to $1. It’s crazy.
First of all…this guy has dusty comics, an unorganized shop…but is able to run a what not show? I’d be curious how often and how many actually join his feed to buy comics….much less dusty witch blade back issues.
Secondary, the fact that this person didn’t realize you’re actually doing him a favor…so, assuming he actually has a what not steam, he now has to spend his time creating a listing, talking up his dusty books, and then shipping them out…crazy how dense people are. For what he thinks is an additional $2 per book. Laughable.
There was a place that did the same to me…said most books are $2-$3…I bring the stack up and he’s asking $6/ea. WTF was all that $2-$3 dollar talk? Never been back. Saw his table set up at a local con last weekend and didn’t look at a single book…his boxes were all marked “keys”….
Had my best sales weekend in a while, selling over $900 in two days. It was nice, need more packing tape though.
I don’t really frequent Whatnot that often but the few times I have. Some of these guys just pull books out of a box called Marvel or DC and have no clue what they are pulling. You ask if they have something and they have no idea, “whatever comes out of this box.” I’ve gotten some great deals that way and also been bored out of my mind.
I’m finding this to be the case for a lot of tubers that go through collections they’ve picked up…same books over and over….a few keys mixed in with a lot of drek.
What was once kind of interesting, has since gotten old.
Finally all my prayers have been answered!
gonna have to be a redhead sydney sweeney to make that look work
Optioned before the book comes out. Huh.
It’s happened in the past from what I’ve recalled.
