Better rig the machine to pay out at times of stress!
It pays out in benzos
Hmmmm…not sure you want to hit the jackpot then…
How about chocolate coins? That would be fun.
I don’t know. Sometimes the jackpot sounds tempting lol.
Got a card for a class action lawsuit against Amazon. Prime membership is ridiculously hard to cancel. You think you have done it and find out you didn’t do all the steps. Sucks because I paid for months not knowing I still had an active account. Now at least I will get some of the money back.
Should be all plus interest, but Bozos needs money more than you apparently.
Saw 28 Years Later The Bone Temple a couple days ago. Ralph Fiennes scene with Iron Maiden Number of the Beast playing was incredible.
K-Pop Pops!
Where did you find them? I need Derpy and Sussie.
I watched it Friday night. I liked it much better than the first chapter and made me appreciate the first chapter even more. So it was a win in my book.
Let’s be honest He-Man was always such a cheesy concept. Even when the guys who created it talk about it, it’s cheesy. But man that is a huge part of my childhood and they did a great job on the concept and story. Looks awesome.
One thing I have learned from reading these retrospectives, that I already knew, but reinforces it, is that long term on hot books, value will drop.
Sell while you can. Make money. Shoot. Keep a copy of you have made a nice profit and only paid cover, but don’t expect the heat to last.
Take that money and invest it in an older more stable book, put it in an investment account or cd, shoot, buy gold or silver. Anything other than holding a hot book for too long.
There just has to be a 2nd wave, but that doesn’t always happen
Yup, most hot books slowly lose value after the hype and interests ween to other titles, issues, new releases, etc.
It feels like most books that start off very hot are the ones that lose the most value over time. The only time they heat back up is if they get optioned or end up making it to our screens, and even then, it’s short lived hype and then it slowly fades away. Exceptions are first appearances of characters in the big two publishers Marvel and DC that develop fan bases, get their own titles, etc. Or books that heat up well after the initial release, as they were sleepers and we didn’t know of their importance until well after the fact based on story telling, character development, etc.
The exception for Indie titles are based on scarcity and popularity. Like The Crow #1 and other issues is a good indie book that will likely always be in demand because there’s fans out there while supplies are always small on availability, most fans have their copy if obtained safely tucked away and a lot of the time, these only become available upon death or hard times.
And ratio variants always have a really poor record for retaining their value and what some call their initial ratio value. This is a reason I never pay over cover for ratio variants, unless you get in super early and flip immediately, these are mostly losers for long term investments.
Cover A across the board, both indie and primary publishers are usually the ones that are the most desirable on average over time when they’re in demand.
Walmart is showing pre-orders for the 28th. So looks that way.
Day 22 3 sales. Almost dint have any sales last night and thought the streak was broken but two late sales came in yesterday. Still, the streak of consecutive days with sales continues.
I’m not impressed until you reach like Cal Ripken Jr. level of streaks… ![]()
