I sold 18 books the first 17 days of the year. No where near Anthony level, but way above normal for me. Then it’s gone ice cold. 5 days with no orders! NO!
It’s always a rollercoaster with sales
I’ve had a few days here and there this month w/out sale. But I don’t think more than one consecutive.
60 total for the year thus far.
Dropped another 4 off today…had a 5th come in, but I needed to pick up more supplies.
The only regrets I have regarding books I let go were many years ago…and to be honest I don’t regret it all that much because I could have re-acquired those easily the past few years if I really wanted them back. In fact, I’ve actually acquired much more awesome books anyway I never thought I would own.
The only one I can’t get back is the first comic I ever bought from a comic shop that started this journey… but I still have the memory of that day, and still remember where the shop was and the moment I laid eyes on it and had to have it. You never forget your first love

Sold my second Nightwing Sweater weather cover. Both move on Mercari for $16 each. I have 6 total. Sold 2 will sell two more and then keep 2 to see if they go up.
So 79 total books sold this month.

As for the filling, the color will change from gray to blue in a first for the Oreo cookie.

Eh, I think I’ve only been able to pay cover price for a ratio I wanted exactly once, several years ago while on vacation. No store within 200 miles of me sells ratios at cover.

I am not a big incentive guy. But when I do it’s usually less than cover price on some kind of sale.
I am not against people paying what they are comfortable with for something they like.
Same. I just don’t pay over cover for comics, even ratios for new releases on release day. Buy what you like and what you can afford.
I’ve paid over cover for old Avatar Press/Boundless variants. Those can be hard to find and quite hilariously explicit.
Well. All good things have to come to an end. The 23 day streak was very strong. And then on day 24…… crickets
No multiple books flying out the door.
No best offers.
No Hope.
Went to dinner preparing for the blizzard coming our way.
Kept checking my phone.
Silence.
12 AM was fast approaching
By some miracle or maybe the allure of Nightwing’s giant nipples, my Mercari alert went off at 11:50 PM, one of my Nightwing Sweater Weathers had sold.
Will people be locked in the house shopping tomorrow or outside in the snow frolicking?
