Odds and Ends

I rarely hold onto anything unless it’s for my own collection. If I have something to sell I’m gonna sell it as fast as I can lest the market fall apart on it.

I was a little underwhelmed with the actual story. The art is great, and it’s all very cohesive. Guess that happens when the same creative does the story, the cover, and the interior art. But, some of the story seemed a little scattered. Is Dorc a good guy? Bad guy? Not much character development, which is a bummer. But, not unusual for a new series.

I’m tempted to list my last remaining copy and tag out for the time being.

That was you?

Cool. Sold some Dorc’s after wards so up to 40 days.

It sold so fast I was wondering if I priced that Junkyard Joe too low

I threw some CHU stickers in there.

If anyone’s in Boston, Scott Snyder signed all of Comicopia’s Abs Bats books yesterday.

I’ve been in there a few times walking to Fenway. Small shop. I don’t think I’ve ever walked out with anything.

I recommend Comicazi just north if anyone is in the neighborhood and doesn’t mind a ride on the T.

Had some random books sell too. Turned out to be a good day.

Guy made an offer on an Assorted Crisis Events TPB. I accepted. His payment was blocked. I messaged him. He said “oh sorry I was trying to get issue 1 not the TPB”. I responded not at the price you offered for the TPB you won’t.

Looked at his Mercari feedback and he canceled a ton of purchases. Either trying to get stuff for free or regretting his purchases right away.

Either way dodged a bullet on that one.

I keep getting transaction failed and reach out to them and the buyers just ignore it don’t respond. I had one seller fix the payment issue, but I expect what you described is the case.

I was going to get a tpb at my lcs, but just didn’t see much a profit at 17 bucks and didn’t want to order from instocktrades.
