I went to list my set of 1-3 and didn’t realize the #3 was a second print so looked it up…is this a really low print book or something? I know nothing about this one and the sold prices are all over the place. This is the only listing besides a slab I’ve found.
Hellboy was a great read every series. A lot of those books have low print runs so I imagine that 2nd print is pretty low. idk about $300 tho… thats a wee bit high.
Never read something Hellboy that I didn’t fully enjoy, great world and characters all around. I knew there was some value to the older books but honestly didn’t know there was 2nd printings much less ppl were asking wild prices for them. Might throw mine up for $200 and see if someone with disposable income takes the bait haha. P.S. thank you forum for reminding me to check the barcodes on books
That’s wild. Good for you on that streak, hope it ended up continuing after all! Think the longest I’ve had is 3 weeks, maybe a month tops but I’m just selling off my collection and not the new FOMO books every week either so I’m sure that limits my views, sales etc.
It is over. I am sad but it’s ok. I had listed 250 items last month and sold a lot of them. I literally ran through and cashed out most of my newer stock. Need to reload.
This might be old news, but doing this seems to help:
Refreshing listings after 30 or more days – end listing, then “Sell Similar” so it gets a whole new item number. It’ll dump all your watchers, but even if you keep the same photos, the algo thinks it’s a new listing and it likes those.
Promoted listings – giving up even more % to eBay sucks, and their suggested ad rates are awful… usually double digits. But you can set it at the minimum 2% and even that seems to help sometimes. Some books still get no eyeballs (hello Ironheart), but I have sold some dormant things.
