Marvel “Classified Target” Variants - what exactly are these? what is the theme? And is there a comprehensive list of them somewhere?
@davidbitterbaum - you mentioned how your sales come in waves. Same here. I’ve had a slow two weeks. I then have sold 9 books from 5 orders in the past 24 hours. 5 of the books were out of print trades.

I got burned out on X-Men titles quickly after I got back into comics, primarily because it just seems like the overall focus is just on mutant genes and such instead of them just being badass heroes in other story lines (with maybe a small mixture of the ongoing mutant gene crap is okay)… This solicitation just makes it seem like it’s just more about the mutant gene as the primary focus… meh!

Telepaths (Liminal) adaptation cast some more people and they just announced Kevin Bacon cast for Southern Bastards show so there’s a little momentum with those two projects, don’t know if that will translate to comic sales or not

I tried offloading some Southern Bastards… I didn’t get any nibbles on the last round of news or updates. My guess is some are waiting until there’s actual previews, etc. It’ll be short lived I think if it does heat up. Indie books are usually very short lived on the value, particularly after the show or movie is done.
Random overseas buyer snagged my Telepaths set right after the option announcement so that was cool. I’ll take the $30 now before they end up in a dollar bin like everything else haha. No Southern Bastards here though.
I thought I had a midtown signed copy of telepaths. Just a crappy regular. Book is still widely available for $3 on ebay.
Took the field with my 15U team for our first game today. Kids on the other team had no idea what they were facing. Dream coaching team of yours truly, my main man Joe, my buddy Rob, and his son (also on Joe’s high school team.) came away with a big season opening win.

I just saw this on Reddit. I now need to check out this Ted TV show. Groo got me into comics as a child and it’s all kind of awesome that he’s made it to television. The writers/show runners are my people.
I liked the first movie. Didn’t watch the second as I kind of forgot about it. Watched some of the first season of the show and found it oddly sweet and endearing for something with Seth MacFarlane involved–that is meant as a compliment, too.
