Yeah. Cutting their online sales killed them. I wonder if how much business we sent their way helped in the demise? Serious question.

we didnt do anything, them not being able to hire a few more reliable people to do shipping did them in.

I don’t mean in a negative way. We had a retailer hook up with us that wanted to expand his business. He couldn’t handle the amount of sales we sent him and he closed down.

I’ve never been to his store before so not sure if he discloses his print runs on exclusives, but some good info in his Insta post… “I dropped $15-$20,000 every time I produce an exclusive variant for my store. That means I’m buying 3 to 5000 copies of something most stores don’t purchase over 1000”
I agree with him that he needs to be in control of his destiny. However the way he goes about battling everyone is wrong. It will cost him in the long run.

Comes off as the ol’ “everybody in the industry including fans are the enemy” trick.

He also shares his exclusives with 616 so he’s not dropping all of that himself. He had an uptick in sales form the Absolute Batman hype, that’s it.
