Odds and Ends

Every year this seems to happen, because every year there’s a group of folks who have to get out of their car or get close and take pictures. Darwin working.

I literally would rather come in contact with a Cougar. At least I can toss rocks and scream at it in an attempt to scare it away. Throwing rocks and screaming at a 2000 lb agitated behemoth is not going to matter.

This is all I could think of when he was being tossed…

(Yes, I’m an awful person…I know).

Here’s an article that provides a little more backstory and fallout.

More John Byrne :joy:

I am struggling. Found a way to sell off a good amount of my funko pops. Some have really good value. But I am torn between trying to sell some individually or just take the bulk offer.

Bulk, and move on with your life. Selling them one at a time just takes up SO much time and effort.

I would second this.

If you would make a profit on the bulk offer I would do it. If, however, you would only make a profit if you sold them individually then do that maybe.

This was pretty good.

My first thought as well. Especially with packing those individually. What’s the value of your time? Not just in listing, packing, shipping, but also the risk of your valuable Funkos perhaps declining over time?

Their offer came in at like $7.25 each on average.

Huge shoutout to @D-Rog for the Absolute Batman hook up. Now my run is complete… Such a relief :face_exhaling: :relieved:

Thanks again!!!

@Scott02861, was this the big news?

The game looks like classic Neo-Geo games.

I’m assuming this is what Kirkham was talking about, I know he had posted something recently about big news.

to be HQ with marvel studios, are they finally gonna bring the comics and movies together

Fantastic news that CB Cebulski is out! It was only a matter of time imo.

Both changes are meant to reinvigorate the comic book side of the company, which has been overshadowed in recent years by the success of Marvel’s movies, and by a creative slump that saw it lose its position as comics market share leader for the first time this century.

At least they’re acknowledging there’s a problem.

That’s a bit of a bold statement, movies and shows have been pretty hit or miss… I guess that indicates how much worse the comics have been doing.
