Have you guys notice how great the new marvel covers look? I’m talking about the cover stock that marvel is using. It has a nice little varnish coating that looks and feels great. Still a little too thin which makes it prone to spine ticks but it’s a nice step up from the tissue paper stock that they have used in the past.
Has anyone cracked the code for taking good pictures of foil covers?

Yes, I steal them from other eBay listings.

Gotta try and get shaded lighting without any direct light hitting the covers… I try to do that with non foils to prevent the reflections from occuring.
I take the pictures with my shirt off so the buyers get a treat when they look at my listings.

How long have these new covers been out?
Has to be new. I got some of the punisher TV variants recently and it didn’t have this stock. Was randomly flipping through some marvel books on the new release shelf and noticed how nice some of the covers feel.
I liked Rom. It was a cool toy and comic.
I tell ya. This has been the best two weeks in a long time for sales. Thing keep flying off the shelf. I cannot believe the difference pre and post sdcc. (I see it every year but the slowdown was terrible)
What’s moving for you?
Some usual suspects for me. Nightwing, RWBY, DCKO, Red Hood (the hill), Batgirl. Abs Martian Manhunter. Some quick turn specy stuff like Savage Dragon and the Greatest American Hero Poo Stain
This week I sold 7 Ben 10 #1a, Hammerfist ashcan, some Batgirl, some Nightwing, Random NYCC variant from years ago, RWBY, Absolute Wonder Woman, X-Men 97 second print that was hot a while ago and sat, Transformers MTMTE #34, Rook Exodus 3 which has been sitting a long time. Oh and 2 DC KO Knightfights that I didn’t realize I still had in a box.
Looks like someone cleared out Rook Exodus 3 copies last few weeks. There were several now there are 0 UD listings on eBay.

I’ve picked up an interesting mix of stuff I need to list. Some 500 and 600 era Amazing Spidey, some Deadpool stuff, a bit of the new-ish hot Batgirl issues from when it debuted in 2024. I just need to focus on getting it all put up for sale!

What’s the rush on Rook Exodus 3?
Issue 3 has 15 or so cameos or first appearances. I haven’t read past issue 3 but if some of these characters become more prominent in the series, issue 3 would be the one to get. Also there’s not a lot of copies printed so once these are gone they’re gone and would be hard to attain.

I have watched Liefeld on Whatnot in the past because it was fascinating to see him bounce from singing to impressions to $*** talk to insta-banning people for even the slightest annoyance. At a certain point, the ego and hypersensitivity stopped being funny. Nothing’s changed:
