This has been the best week of sales for me in a long time. Had 20 sales so far. Mixture of hot new books and stock that I have had sitting.

Saw Facebook marketplace listing selling a ton of New Mutants. Basically the entire run and annuals. Except for number 87 being the much less sought after reprint with the gold background and no 98. They wanted $550 but the price has recently dropped to $350. Without the important issues is there really any value? Am I just a hater?
There are some early issues in the new Mutants run that have some value but seems like they pulled the good ones. I’d pass.

I would pass. I’ve seen an almost complete run of new mutants in the dollar bins, some even at the 50 cent bins. At $350 for the run without 87 and 98 that’s an overpay.

Thank you, @Anthony and @SpicyWasabi for confirming my feelings. I saw that listing stating how those issues were either the later prints or, “Missing,” and rolled my eyes.

I thought I’d seen it all in terms of over use & abuse of postal supplies in regards to comics.
At a show and a seller had all of comic boxes constructed out of priority mail boxes. He also used the little USPS boxes made into box space fillers.
(Sigh) People wonder why postal prices are absurd.

Read into what Congress did to USPS back in the 2000’s, that’s why we’re seeing USPS high prices and literally failing nowadays…

Quick question, with postage going up and mailing one comic at usps ground at close to $7 bucks. I was wonder what type are comics are people posting on ebay, are they mostly books costing $10 and more. Modern books?
My shipping is costing me between $5.5 up my cost. Yes, books going across country are costing the buyer $10. I am still posting whatever and seeing what sells.

I really don’t sell anything under $15, and aim for $20 as my baseline. I assume roughly $.75 for a mailer/supplies, and rarely below $6.50 for shipping. I typically charge $6.85 for shipping one book anywhere, and $7.50 for 2 books. Everyone’s revenue threshold is different, but $15-20 is my bottom line for book cost (before shipping).
